This video was really helpful! I've been needing a detailed video like this. I would say the main thing Im struggling with is lead vocal presence in lead female vocals and working with a 2-Track beat
This was amazing, unbelievable aswell that this stuff is free out here rn gah damn, thank you so much! Exactly the jumpstart in pro tools I needed, loved the way you explained everything man
great Vid! Question, would you or should you add another effect like chorus or compression on the same aux track? Or should you create another aux for each one. Thanks again !
I get the concept of sending your eq to the vocal bus but what if there’s a certain part in a verse that has too much low end. Then what? How do you adjust said verse
Everyone has to start there! I remember not even knowing what questions to ask because I was so confused at first 😅 When you set up your sessions like Jordan does in the video, all of your effects (plugins) will be happening on your Aux/Bus tracks. For all of your vocals. In the beginning, I wouldn’t worry about adjusting effects on different parts of the song, unless you really want those sections to sound/feel a lot different. Does this help?
Bro, i have a question that been killing me. All the process for vocal are in mono or it depends what process you are adding to it. When we have to use stereo and when not?? Thanks videos are very helpfull
Wassup bro I need your help please 🙏🙏🙏 I selected on playback enginee my Universal Audio Thunderbolt and put it on 128 samples like you did, the thing is when I select the correct input for my mic on the track my mic dont sound. Ion know what's the problem, what can I do?
Just wanna say your fucking dope man you actually show good music lol But really great explanations I'm going in 100% with engeerring this new year thx for inspiration
I use avid protools artist and it’s saying I have reached the maximum number of audio tracks! Does that mean I have to upgrade to studio? or what? because it’s not letting me add many tracks
my #1 struggle it’s getting the vocals to sit right with the beat like sounding professional i feel like my vocals mic aren’t full or beef it’s like idk it don’t like a song
We’ve got a training coming out this week that I think will help with this! In the meantime, maybe check out some of our mix breakdown videos + testing out the “Maddmix” Mix Bus from his video 🔥 PS: This was a struggle for me for a long time too! Are you mixing to 2-track beats?
number one struggle is mixing like it’ll sound good on my speakers , headphones but lack it on other devices like my phone, car speakers, bigger speakers
