Is there any way to record party chat audio just using the console itself without using twitch or anything like that I already know how to record up to an hour of gameplay onto my console directly I just need to be able to record my voice audio as well that way I don't have to do a voiceover because I'm trying to get into doing RU-vid but I don't have any equipment or really anything and I don't have a way of buying any of that stuff yet I'm a beginner at all of this and it's a bit overwhelming I'm just looking for a little bit of help
Hands down the best person I’ve seen on RU-vid and I watch a lot. Study what they do and how they do things. This guy is 💯🙏🏼 one of the best and this is my first video I’ve come across of him. Appreciate your work. Thank you💜
only issue with this is you wont get audio unless they click the box to share audio so unless your scripting something with friends it wont work for most situations. i did learn how to archive streams tho thank you thats very helpful!! :)
Hi cpaws I've been watching your channel on RU-vid and think that the videos your doing are really helpful and it’s amazing that your helping small twitch streamers like me even though I've been technically streaming for about I believe 3 years now. I have a quick question that I think I probably know the answer to but I want to make sure that im 100% sure I know the answer. So my question is if as an console streamer are you allowed to change that clock cat screen that people see on twitch when your switching to a different game or on the home screen of your Xbox one to something different? for example I see pc streamers that has the I'll be right back screen or a different screen. since I've first started streaming always wanted to change it to that. If that’s not possible then that’s fine I hope that one day that have that option and if they do then please help me figure that out. ps sorry for the long paragraph I tend to write or type long paragraphs sometimes thank you for reading this all the way through! -DJ :)
@@blank1720 Yeah, phones have really weird storage settings, You'll have to do some digging under your files in order to find where I got saved to since it varies from phone to phone
You'd need a capture card and obs/streamlabs obs and piece out each audio track in the mixer. Though separating party chat and gameplay would be kind of a pain in the butt since they're both coming from your Xbox as 1 source, so not exactly sure you could separate those 2.
This is ridiculous. I switched from a PS4 to a Xbox Series X and on playstation I could include party chat audio with my saved clips with just one check box... unbelievable.
Hey bro so I’ve watched this a couple times and I have followed it step by step and still have the same issue and I never see a box for ppl to click on for party chat maybe I’m missing something I can hear ppl in my party perfectly but ppl watching live stream can’t hear anyone but me I’ll continue to mess with settings but the video was super helpful thanks for the content bro
No prob! Yeah it can be weird sometimes, my only guess is that your friends don't have the latest version of Twitch installed on their xboxes that you're in a party with. If they all do then have everyone reset their xboxs and if it STILL doesn't work than getting a capture card is the way to go.
I have this same problem if u could possibly help me test this stuff and if u want u can make video and get some content out of it I’m not sure if I fixed this issue or problem but if u could possibly help me that be really great
@@CpawsMusic when i stream with my friends one on a pc and one on their ps5, i can never hear them on stream but can hear them in game chat, what do i do for cross platform?
I don’t have twitch i use youtube. I record clips a lot but all i want to do is just be able to hear the party i’m in with my friends and this was helpful but i don’t use twitch 😢 do you know how i can be able to hear my party without twitch?
@@CpawsMusic apparently Fortnite is "built different". I guess they just had to be unique. Why you do this to me Fortnite!!!! 👊. They must be stopped. 😭 Anyway thanks for the vid.
Hey so I am able to stream games from my Xbox and include my party chat with my friends, but when I go back and watch the streams my mic is quiet while they're at normal volume, which drowns out my voice a lot of the time. I wanted to try and adjust the party volume setting but it's grayed out. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, as well as resetting the stream key a couple of times, but it still won't let me adjust the party volume which is really frustrating because the option is clearly there but it's just grayed out. Does anyone know of another way to fix that issue?
@@CpawsMusic yeah I have seen a lot of people with this issue so hopefully it gets addressed at some point. Thanks anyway for responding though I appreciate it!
@@CpawsMusic hey I think I fixed it? I went into the party screen when I’m broadcasting and individually turned down the volume of each person in the party by clicking their name and just moving that slider down, and then in the broadcast the audio is about even now. It might require a little fine tuning to make sure one isn’t louder than the other but that worked for me. Maybe you can let other people know if they have that problem in the future , thanks!
Streamed for the first time and it was pretty fun. But I have the store broadcasts button on but for some reason it’s not doing it? Any reason why this could be?
Thank you for the AMAZING video!!! but still having trouble recording game chat audio...? if you know how to record it now since u said in the video you don't know and you made a video about it please send me the link =)
I haven't made a video on game chat specifically since it's super finicky. Some people get it to work with this method but others not. It's likely dependent on a per-game basis, but I'm not 100% sure :/
You mean the Twitch VOD? It depends on which phone you have because they all save their files in different places. So Google which phone you have and where it stores files :)
I was hoping for a method where I could record 30 second to 1 minute clips with the built in feature and still have my mic and party chat recorded. Is this at all possible without streaming the whole session?
Yesterday I recorded in xbox call of duty dmz mode. But when I checked video, voice wasn't recorded during my talking with my team mates. How can i record also voice chat while recording game.
You can try this method: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-J18vXDoktRg.html If that doesn't work then I'd recommend buying a capture card
It should work for Series S, however game chat is a mixed bag. I've heard microsoft doesn't want you to pick up game chat since technically you don't have their consent but I've heard of workarounds with a capture card however no promises.
streaming from pc to twitch from streamlabs obs im having trouble tyna figure out how to capture the game chat audio i have cap card from pc to xbox to monitors ect. do i need like a chat link to capture the audio or somthing?
I'd recommend setting your Xbox Audio Settings to come out of Both your Headset and TV Speakers, usually that forces the capture card to capture All audio :D
Not 100% sure but I'd imagine it would be a similar process. However there is a new method of streaming that you can try which should include their voices :) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-lGlncwSJd7k.html
With Xbox, can you record gameplay for an hour with a USB and use this method at the same time to make Twitch game audio silent and just record party chat? That way gameplay and game audio is recorded into the USB, and party chat is recorded with Twitch.
I had trouble with this today I wanted to stream on twitch but couldn’t hear my brother in the party chat on the stream. And when I stream myself I can’t hear gamechat on MW
Game chat is usually quite finicky. Usually you won't be able to capture it without a capture card but I've heard a lot people have issues with it since xbox likes to make things difficult
Hi I use obs and Xbox app to stream Xbox to obs but my problem is my wireless headphones artic 9x are paired with Xbox but can't get obs to pic up my voice on headphone mic party chat works fine but I can't stream my voice . Do you no how I can fix this issue without a second mic?
Yeah honestly I'd just do a second mic, but the only thing I could think might work would be setting your xbox audio to come out of both your headset and speakers but even then Im not sure it would work haha
Wait is this the only way to do this? I came from ps4 and whenever in game chat and I clipped something I could hear their voices. I tried to do that today on my Xbox but I couldn’t hear their voices, even in game chat.
I think it varies from person to person since I've heard that game chat is picked up for certain people. Could also be game-specific so possibly look into the game settings as well.
ok I've been having a hugeeee problem with the audio for my party and if anyone or yourself can help me I would really appreciate it, so my issue is that I am streaming on streamlabs with my EL Gato capture card with my xbox series x, when i go live my chat can't hear my party :( I don't know if there's a setting I have to play around with on my xbox or on streamlabs? can someone please help me ?
