Great ideas. Those sonoffs are a pretty awesome little hack. I just checked amazons and they are pretty dang cheap.. keep up with the channel. I like what you have to share

You can also use the inching setting on those Sonoffs to automatically turn off a device after a specified amount of time. My wife always forgets to tell Alexa to turn off the printer. So, I configured the Sonoff to power off the printer after it has been on for 10 minutes.
I just got one of those watt meters. The good thing is we don't have a lot of stuff plugged it. Just a few rokus and a couple TV's / monitors. Shockingly most of our devices are really efficient.
