I just drank a glass of vegetable juice consists of celery, beets, carrots and pomegranate; it was delicious. trying to lower my cholesterol and high blood pressure. Thank you for the helpful insights Dr Frita.
@@jaszysselflovecreations6418 I also follow Dr. Boz who says it's more important to watch your sugar and carbohydrate intake, that your kidneys will naturally regulate the salt. I've noticed this in my own blood work, my sodium stays within a close range. From Dr. Berg, he believes people should get 4700mg of potassium each day. If your potassium deficient, your body will retain more salt. I follow many on RU-vid that cover Keto, Autophagy and rebuilding your Mitochondria. It takes watching dozens of videos to understand the human body, an on going life long process.
@Iwt3162 Add kimichi and Greek yogurt to your meal plan. These two things are your prebiotic and prebiotic. This will help with your leaky gut (stomach). Prebiotic will eat up parasites an other unwanted things on your hot ehr prebiotic will feed and restore your gut. You can incorporate in your meal or eating separately but not to far apart if eating separately. You want the combination of prebiotic and prebiotic going on simultaneously in your gut.

Thank you so much your videos are very helpful and informative. My blood pressure had gotten too high 230/120 now I’m eating better exercising and it’s lower. Doctor put me on high dose of blood pressure medication but I found out it’s a re call on the medicine due to causing cancer. My pressure is going to be hard to control because I’m a caretaker for mom it’s stress. But, your videos have been so helpful and encouraging. Keep up the good work. Thanks again 😊
For exercise try marching in place and walking around inside if you can't get outside to walk. Maybe an exercise bike or small trampoline or stepper etc. providing your doctor okays something like that.
Thank you ❤ I checked my BP while watching this video and I was at 167/97! I didn’t even know! I feel fine. I am certainly going to use your advice. I already eat these but certainly need to calm my salt intake down. Purple Cabbage - I sauté red and white onions, shallots in extra virgin olive oil just slightly, basically releasing the amazing flavors. I add elephant garlic, thinly sliced last. I add about a 4th cup of chicken and/or vegetable stock (probably should use low/no sodium) just enough to cover the bottom of the skillet thinly. I add a couple of caps of liquid smoke. Once it’s hot again, I add my thinly chopped purple (or green) and cover to steam until tender. Sometimes I add shredded carrots and a can of stewed tomatoes instead in the beginning. It’s delicious! But I have not been as cognizant of the sodium content of the broth and tomatoes and seasoning as I should 😮 but this is my favorite go-to cabbage dinner show stopper.
Your presentation is excellent, I was just about to address the potassium level, if too high, can affect the electrical impulse function of your organs. I thank you, for addressing the disadvantages of exceeding the potassium parameter. THANK YOU. #JahLove
I love all these vegetables you are talking about. I love sweet Potatoes I love to eat mine plain to. Sweet Potatoes is good stuff with Broccoli. Celery and Carrot Juice are so delicious. I juice stalk 2 of Celery in 2 Carrot put them in the juicer and drink it immediately it is good in a couple mins I drink water behind it.
I crave all these veggies and feel fabulous when I eat them. Unfortunately not everyone in the house hold are fans. I'm working on making sure I get them in our diet as I have high blood pressure.
Thank you Dr. Frita great information. Question: 1. On the cabbage is the purple cabbage good to use as well. I find it’s more east for my system to digest yet I do use green cabbages. 2. Lastly I’m big on juicing I’m not a cooker as much honestly but I do cook and don’t eat a lot of fast foods so I juice. Can I juice these combinations of veggies your sharing with us as well as cook them? Thank you I hope you see this comment so I can go shopping at the market for these items Much Success🎉!
Normal BP in your 60 -s is over 140/85 👊 because WHO desided that money must come in more they say all people must have 120/ 80 and that´s impossible ❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗❗
Right! It has definitely been up and down for me trying to regulate it. And even harder with CKD 3, so I love the fact that she is a nephrologist and HBP specialist. Thank you Dr. Frita!!
sweet potatoes are really soft cooked in instapot. Shorter cooking time too. I snack on garlic stuffed olives but concerned about salt. You've helped me so much especially with high blood pressure. Getting lab report from dr about protein in urine.

Dr. Frita, I usually blend those veggies into a smoothie. However I find my body has a very hard time digesting/breaking down Cellulose, any suggestions? Btw, Ive lost 45 lbs since following your videos! Thank you!
@@danyellejohnson791 I get Organic Girl Power Greens and use approx 3 hands full. I’ve since purchased a salad wash kit and reduced the amount by a handful. I was able to digest that pretty well. Part of my challenge is due to scar tissue (adhesions due to abdominal surgery) some years ago.
Thank you to meet you and i will follow, but what i want to know the 9 fruits had different behevior some are eaten without cooking and some by cooking. What is the effect if we eat one at a time to get the required result?

Hi Dr. Frita, do you think that essential HTN is really "ideopathic"? Or are there secondary gains for the pharmaceutical industry that steer the medical education in this way? Thanks....Also great video content 👍♥️
My daughter got me eating like a gerbal but i gotta admit mushroom burgers was slammin. My blood pressure stays mostly normal because of my workout schedule but i allways like stuff like this with the exception of carrots 🤢
Thank you so much. Can you recommend a good vegan cookbook for a beginner, please? The choices are overwhelming and probably raise my blood pressure 😳😊
@dr. Frida doesn't kale and spinach contain oxalates used to eat beets don't add salt nor do I ingest can foods but when I visit the PCP my BP shoots up ergo what can be done
