The chips used in the video to reset the cartridge require that you install a different
Version of firmware on your printer . We will shortly make a new video showing how to install the firmware and were you can download it. There are different versions for the various models of printer.
As with all new models, we imagine that a fully compatible chip will be available soon.

Thanks for the video, this is a lot better than drilling a hole into it. As soon as I undid the three screws and removed the first plate, the cap was right there, so no more prying after that and I could fill with abandon. So people know, the electronics in the toner automatically counts down to zero, so it may show that there's no toner available for further printing. Mine still prints after it shows the low toner warning, but some brands wait for that reset, and apparently you can 'purchase' the flash fix for that reset for the toner cartridge.

Thank you very much for this video. It really made my work a lot easier. I used your video some time ago as well and I had powder all over the place. Now I revisited your video and realised I was not doing it in the same way as you. I now see how important it is to hold the paper tube almost horizontal. Last I did it I had it vertically and it blew back up the paper tube and all over the place. This time carefully following your instructions. It worked like a charm. Again thanks.

You need to empty the waste bin if you are going to refill the cartridge more than 2 times but you will also need to change the dru,, wiperblade etc. It is alot easier just to buy another compatible cartridge and refill it.

there is no need to empty the waste tank until the third refill. The third refill is more complicated because you also need to change the opc/ imaging drum, wiperbalde etc. these operations are best left to pros recyclers.

No you dont need to change the chip but the cartridge will only print the copias remaining on the chip. Refilling the cartrideg can prolong the life of the chip if you are printing pages that have alot of coverage.

Nice video, my concern is that you do not empty the waste bin. Toner may overflow from waste bin if not cleaned out before refill.

The chip resets the internal counter of the printer and shows the cartridge as being full. If you don´t change the chip, the printer will continue to show the cartridge as empty and will eventually stop printing even if it is full.

Grey prints. There are 3 posible causes. 1. The Toner you used is not specific for your Printer. 2. The small copper electric contacts on the side of the cartridge are dirty. 3. The cartridge has Beem recycled 3 or mor Times.

What if I refill the catridge when it is half-full, do I still need to change the chip? Or does the chip just restrict the number of sheets it can print?

there are two types of chips, With one type you need to change the firmware, these chips are cheaper. There are also more expensive chips that work like original chips and ypou dont need to do anything.

Hello, thank you for the video. My question would be about the chip as well. So the chip is counting the pages printed, and after an amount of pages it would stope the printing even if the toner has been refilled and it is full? So you need than a new chip ? If this is the case, do you know who many pages are programed in the chip ? Thank you

Yes, Once the chip reaches a certain amount of copies, the cartridge stops working and the message "replace toner appears"
