Where my "imma watch during my lunch break crew at?!?!?!" lol #lunchbreakcrew SN: This was a DevaCurl Super Stretch & Mane Choice braid out glaze wash n go.
KIMBERLYYYY GIRL! You probably won't even see this comment but I swear to you that your channel is one of the MOST beneficial/informative channels on RU-vid for natural hair! Keep it up boo ❤🙂
Wow, this was so helpful. I never thought to do this before. I love your channel so much, you don't understand how much you've helped me figure out what to do with my hair, cuz we got a similar texture and porosity. THANK YOU!
I had to come back to this video because it has helped me so much. This is how I refresh and my hair looks so good. Also helped me realize my hair does better wirh wash and Gos on damp rather than soaking wet hair.
That's a good refresh video... usually my hair seems to get to dry and I still have not figured out what to do in order to keep it from looking like Al Sharpton niece..... any suggestions also what about a eyebrow video yours always look nice
Thank you Kimberly for making a hair refreshing video because I always wanted a idea to know how to refresh hair even though kinda knew I just wanted a idea but thanks ur so passionate about your fans😘😘😘💖 oh and I loved that twist out video that hair was giving me life so bomb💖
your hair is so beautiful, and this really helped im just so worried about putting so much gel in my hair, as my natual is quite short and already damaged. But i think i will be trying this.
Love this refresh! I refresh in sections as well but usually the back of my hair using whatever styler I used for my original wash-n-go. I never thought of using this method to change my part! That's a bit of a refresh gamechanger! My question is do you use the EcoStyler to refresh regardless of what products you used for your original wash-n-go?
Watching while sitting under my hooded dryer waiting for my wash and go to dry! You got me HOOKED on the Braid Out Glaze! I’m cheap and haven’t bought the Devacurl cream but I found a substitute, the Jane Carter Curls To Go Curl Cocktail cream. They’re my fav combo ❤️
Same hair type over here lol. What did you use for this wash and go! I’ve been loving warm water.. leave in... curl maker... and Argan Eco gel for my hair... and I love to refresh it with gel and warm water! Yasssss!!!!!! And defusing 👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾👌🏾 I think was and goes are my new protective style.. literally going up to a week to 2 weeks!!!
im really thinking about using eco gel again because i dont think it did anything to me, i think at the time my hair was just not acting right and i needed to cut it anyway. i gave away all of my eco gel except the black castor and flaxseed oil one and im glad i decided to keep that one. imma try to do a wash and go with that one and see how my hair reacts to it now. i always been an eco gel fan so its hard to really just stop using it.
I definitely need to do this on my crown asap. When you blow dry what temp do you use? I have a high, low, and cool shot setting on mine. When I tried to dry my roots after my wash-n-go my curls got a little frizzy. How can I prevent this when trying to quickly dry my hair ?
Love the video! Great tip to refresh for frizz. My issue is my hair is dry so I need to remoisturize at least 3× a week. My hair drinks moisture. Suggestions are welcomed please. Background have 4b, 4a majority hair 4c in only the bang area. I shampoo, deep condition under hooded dryer, leave in JBCO, moisturize with cantu hair lotion, seal with shea butter weekly. I sleep in satin bonnet and silk pillow.
Hey Kimberly I have a question I usually air dry my hair and it's well moisturized but my hair takes about 2 days to dry completely but I blow dryed my natural hair on low heat of course and its dry for some reason have any tips on how to blow dry natural hair or the best method than thanks 😘😘😘😘💖🖤
How is it that your hair after being inba scarf doesn't have that stiff cress? My hair always gets it even when I just out a headband on it...is it because you have a lot of length, my hair comes about a bit lower than my ear.
@@KimberlyCherrell and it sound like I was being sarcastic but I wasn't 😂😂this video really helped because I have to refresh tomorrow because I've been doing it wrong lol
Mini pineapples was a game changer for me after I went natural. My hair would be smushed against my head every night before I learned about it on RU-vid.
lovinlife forme Hey Sis💕Shrinkage is indicative of healthy (elasticity) hair! There are a few very effective, harmless ways to stretch your hair out to the length you want. You may use the banding method, low heat or cool blow dryer and the good ole pineapple, just to name 3. Kim uses the blow dry method pretty regularly so I’d start with her video selection and venture out from there...I hope this is helpful🌹
lovinlife forme get the hooded dryer, you can even use it for deep conditioning too. I used to air dry my wash and goes and always hated how my hair looked when it dried. my roots in the back would never dry, my hair would shrink up a lot and get very frizzy and it took forever. now I dry my hair with heat and I love it. Currently I dry with a blowdryer but as soon as I have the funds , I'm getting a hooded dryer. Here's a way to blowdry your hair to mimic hooded dryer results(this is how I dry my wash and goes and I now have minimal shrinkage, more hold and more definition): do not use any blowdryer attachments like a diffuser blow dry your hair in a downward motion, holding the dryer at least 6 inches from your hair do not move and shake your hair around like youre diffusing do NOT touch your hair while its drying all you do is blowdry in the down ward motion If the technique I said is confusing then please let me know. Drying my wash and go with heat has been a game changer, it took my wash and no to a wash and go lol. I also band my hair after this to get even more stretch but honestly my hair isn't that shrunken to begin with.
Anne Cuthers Thanks so much for this!!! Are you using high heat or low heat? How long is this taking you? I air dry because the blow dryer seemed to dry out my hair. Maybe I wasn’t doing it right. I also have a hooded dryer and attempted several times but it’s always dry afterwards. It could be because it’s a Conair. I may need to invest in a actual profession hooded dryer.
AqsoulX it takes me like 30 minutes to completely dry but sometimes it takes a bit longer. Next time I do my hair I'll experiment with plopping for about 20 minutes beforehand just to cut down on blowdry time. My blowdryer has only two settings, warm and high and I use warm. I have heard the goldnhot dryer and the Laila Ali are good hooded dryers. hmmmm the blowdryer doesn't really dry my hair out, maybe use an oil before you blowdry and finish it up with a cool shot
