We used a normal drill with a drill bit made for metal. Worked like a charm. That being said, you have to use a handle where there is some padding (metal, plastic, etc) on both sides... think of how a washer works. We have original Youngstown Kitchens by Mullins cabinets and yhe handles have a plastic tab on the handle side and a plastic washer on the inside.
Oh man! Why would you?! Steel cabinets are a hot commodity and a rarity! Sets for for thousands! Just my original set alone is over 60k in the bathroom and kitchen. Feel lucky! Most were scraped! Rarity indeed!
@@Racinek exactly why I want to know if its possible. Our doors are rusted with holes, one of these days we will wake up to it laying on the floor. But the inside and outer shell is still strong. Only the doors need it. So was wondering if I can do wood door instead of having whole kitchen ripped out and redone.
