How to regrout my bathroom floor. 

Kudos for an amazing looking job well done.. you saved yourself a ton of money and time! With proper care and no harsh chemicals applied, regrouting will last just as long as the original grout.. the naysayers are just jealous!👍🏼

This is what NOT to do! Do NOT regrout over old cracked grout because the top new layer is going to turn brown and crush within the year. It’s bad for the tile. If you want to do the job right and have your grout last for a decade (sometimes 2 decades depending on how well you mix your grout and used a grout sealer) you must remove the old grout, vacuum, then regrout. There’s videos about how to mix your grout the right way. Basically if you spin mix it too fast you put too much air into it and it’s not gonna hold as well.

Is it still holding up because going over top of old grout with new grout doesn't seem like it would hold very long. Is it still holding up for you?
