I would definitely contact Amazon support for that amount of money. I guess if you spend that much money on Amazon then it probably OK to have it on there.
Not sure how that can happen. Did you accidently spend it or someone in the family purchased something and forgot to uncheck the box next to that payment method. Amazon chooses your gift card money by default for the payment option. If you do not uncheck that then it will use it. Here is the link to the live help option on Amazon for you. The only one that can help you fix this is them. www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us/ref=hp_gt_comp_cu?ie=UTF8&nodeId=508510
Hi Fusion, It should be defaulted at check out. Look under Payment method at check out and you should see Gift Card Balance selected. If not, check the box next to it. I hope that helps.
Ok so I’m tryna buy a cable for 9.99 and I have 15.15 in my gift card balance but when I try to use it, I select it but I can’t proceed to checkout... I’m so confused.
This should work on any Amazon.com site around the world. There should be not much difference in how it is done on your countries Amazon account. Of course the currency and language will be different from what I show in the video but the steps are the same.
Hi Marilou, If you reload your Amazon balance it only loads the money on to your Amazon account. This is under the Gift Card Balance area. This will not load on to your credit card. You can use the balance on your account and when that is used up then it will use a credit card you have on file with them. I hope that cleared things up for you.
Hey i accedentally redeemed a 50 dollar gift card on the wrong account, is there any way that I can get the 50 dollars back on the card so I can use it on my other account?
Right now Amazon is running a special for Prime members, they are offering $10 to be added into your account if you reload $100 or more into your account. Do you think there could be a fine of some sort if I cancel my Prime membership next month after I have reloaded $100 and have gotten that $10 into my account? Just asking to make sure there isn't any trickery on the part of Amazon. Thank you very much if you could answer my question, I appreciate it.
I did not see that deal but would think it would work but Amazon might have some fine print you need to look for. Since you are a Prime Member during the time you did the deal then you should be safe but I'm not Amazon so proceed at your own risk.
Hi Dax Most likely it will decline the transaction and send you a message that you need to change payment method. Think they give you a 24 hour window to fix the payment issue.
You should be able to do it with a gift card or even your bank account. As long as it is an account that is connected to your Amazon to pay for things. If you follow the steps in the video you can add any payment method and use that payment method to reload your Amazon Gift Card balance. Hope that made some sense. :)
@@DavesComputerTips It says my gift card balance cannot be applied to orders that contain certain items per Amazon Gift Card Terms and Conditions. I don’t feel like adding a credit or debit card.
When you are checking out it automatically will choose your Gift card balance. This is seen under the payment option spot at checkout. If not check the box next to the gift card balance payment option. You can uncheck the box if you do not wish to use the balance for that order. Hope that helped
Yes you can do that. Amazon will use the gift card first and then use whatever you have set as the other payment method. It will show you what is left to pay. Hope that helped.
When checking out I do know you can use your Amazon gift card balance first then choose a credit card or other payment option for the remaining balance. My amazon account automatically chooses the Gift card balance first. If I do not want to use the balance then I have to uncheck the box next to Gift card balance under payment option. Do not know how this would work with the Amazon Store Card if short money.
I accidentally reloaded all my balance in my bank account, so stupid I do that. Can you help me to return or there will be another way to fix it because it was suppose to be my tuition fee :((
Let’s say I want to buy something over 1k but I only have 3 $500 gift cards. If I put that on my account could I only use the account balance by itself?
If you add all 3 $500 Gift cards to the Amazon Gift Card Balance then yes. You can use only the account balance on your Amazon Gift Card Balance to purchase items with. If you run out of that balance then it will default back to your other payment methods to pay the remaining part. Always double check the payment option when at check out to make sure it is using the right payment (Amazon Gift Card Balance). Hope that made sense.
Hi Alfaaz, Not sure why they are holding your Account after reload. This is outside my expertise but here is Amazon help where you can chat with a real person. www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/contact-us/ There is even an option to have them call you to fix the issue. The link is under the Start chatting now button. Hope this helps you get this all sorted out.
