Thats awesome to hear. I'm trying to put together a little free series. I know other channels have paid courses but I would rather put something solid together that people can watch for free.
Yeah... The title was misleading friend. It's a tutorial for a brand you're working for. Not very cool.... I really thought you were gonna teach me "how to (re)make any synth sound with cheap instruments/plugs:any sound synthesis really.... As a beginner, I don't encourage the way you plaid us.
Thanks for the comment but I'm not sure if you watched the video all the way through. I covered all the steps (Understanding your tools, active listening, Characteristics of the sound Wave Shape, If its mono is there legato between the notes or glide, Amp Envelopes, Filtering, Modulation, Effects) These are the same steps I use when I recreate any of the sounds on my channel. These steps can be applied to almost any synth it doesn’t matter if it’s hardware or software. I used the Novation Peak in this video as the layout is really straight forward and there is almost no menu diving. You could use all of these techniques to recreate the sound from the video using Serum. You can see that my past videos I have used products from a number of companies, I just try and use the best tool for the job.
@@craigwilliamsmusic . I understand this synth /brand you're working for does use the same basic theory (sound waves, lfo, filters etc)........ But if I had to buy a piece of hardware, I wouldn't choose this synth obviously. I found other videos that explained to me the basics of sound synthesis faster though, thanks for your reply, no hard feelings friend.
