Hi Curtis, glad this helped you! As far as parts I always recommend using GM / AC Delco factory OEM parts especially the headlights as the aftermarket stuff is so hit or miss and doesn't seem to hold up over time. On the grille you might be able to get a good aftermarket one but I would check for online reviews of the part before purchasing. Best thing to do would be to watch craigslist or Facebook marketplace and find a good condition used grille off someone parting one of these trucks out. They sell used in good shape for around $50. Hope this helps.

You should be able to access the back of the fog light housings pretty easily.by crawling under from the front and reaching up

there are 2 twist locks at the bottom and 2 at the top. Watch where I used the phillips screw driver as that's how your disengage them.

Yes but you will need the entire front clip sheet metal as in hood, both fenders, head light brackets and bumper. The under pinnings like the inner fenders and core support are interchangeable and work the same for both GMC and Chevy. The only problem that you may encounter is the frame horn ends where the front bumper attaches. You may need to rig/weld on some brackets to get the Chevy bumper to fully mount up as the mounting points on those frame ends can be different between Chevy and GMC and also 99-02 vs. 03-06. best way is to crawl under and do a visual comparison. It can be done and I'm sure theres a mounting kit already made somewhere on the internet.
