How to remove a drum from a top loader washing machine Panasonic EcoNavi In this video i show how to remove the drum from a top loader. The pulsation was stuck and i also show how to remove the stuck pustular.
I managed to get the pulsator and drum nut off. But the drum seems stuck to the gearbox shaft? Any tips on how to get the inner drum unstuck from the gearbox shaft?
Around 2:50 you openned the drum bolt. I repaired my panasonic f60gs gear box so i had to open the drum so i can easily replace the gearbox. Now i've done everything and assembled the machine once again the PROBLEM is that, the nut of the drum is kept opening when i ever i put the machine on wash rinse or spin. The nut loosen itself. What is the solution to fix the nut. I have tried my best hard to tighten the nut with a wrench. Need help please guide
I encountered nut was too tight to loose it may b it's stuck inside,so I wondering could use powerful impact drill to open it or not...will it caused broken?
@ecologicaltime Thanks for the video, really very useful. I'm trying to clean my Samsung top loader washer. Was able to remove the pulsator however the top nut (it's 35mm for Samsung) is not coming out - using the impact drive with 35mm socket. So was trying to see if you removed it in counter-clcokwise direction or clockwise.
On the LG washer check your washer to see if you have a Hose Clamp or Glue on the inbound side of the discharge pump. If so, that is not a factory connection. There is not supposed to be any Glue or Hose Clamps on anything according to LG. Squeeze clamps only. Most of the LG washers had to be reconditioned, then sold as new. The hose is 2 inches too short and the travel of the tank, to offset a lopsided load, will one day rip that hose off. I repaced 12" of drywall in my whole washroom. Contact the FTC.
thanks for the comment. Mine (Panasonic) had a squeeze clamp which leaked so i changed it to a cable tie which works very well. The pipe length was short which i think resulted into too much pulling on the hose.
After 5 year samsung washing top load automatic washing machine, the inner stainless steel fully rusted and bent,,sir is there washing coming with plastic, with out stainless steel?
if yours was stainless steel it should not have rusted. Maybe it was coated that came of and then the metal underneath rusted. If it was stainless steel, you probably can claim a warranty from Samsung. I have not seen plastic drums
I have an inherited 1982 GE top-loading machine myself. It leaks shortly after being turned on. The repairman tilted it, and said: " The drum is rusted through...time for a NEW one." I know I can't complain having it all these years, but there IS planned obsolescence there. Why can't they use stainless, or at least galvanized steel?!?
Hi sir.. I have problem on my washing machine Sharp.. Not big problem.. Just heard there water stuck on the drum.. even i finished use it.🤔. can you suggest me what can i do to solve this problem.😊 I'm little bit worried because just bought it about 5 months ago😑😁
Let me suggest to you Sir the drain hose or the drain pump is the area of CONCERN : ( UNPLUG WASHINE MACHINE FIRST FROM POWER SUPPLY ) 1. Disconnect the two CONNECTING HOSES AFTER DISCONNECTING YOUR TWO WATER HOSES FROM COLD AND HOT CONNECTIONS . 2. TILT YOUR W / M on ONE SIDE to locate the drain pump. 3..Normally TWO SECURITY MOUNT SCREWS SECURED THE BASE OF THE PUMP. UNDO THE TWO ( 2 ) SCREWS .. 4.. AND REMOVE THE PUMP AND REMOVE THE HOSE CLAMPS ON EACH HOSE.. 5.. CHECK THE INSIDE OF THE PUMP FOR ANY FLUFF RETARDING THE ROTATION AND REMOVE ( IF ANY FLUFF ) INSIDE. 6.CHECK ALSO THE PUMP BEARINGS IF NOT DAMAGE.. 7.. THE DRAIN HOSE ? FLUSH WITH THE SUPPLY WATER ( BOTH ENDS ) DETERMINE IF WATER FLOWS FREELY. 8.. IF EVERYTHING SEEMS ALRIGHT , .AKE SURE THERE IS NO KINK / S ON THE DRAIN HOSE ON TEST .... PUTTING YOUR WASHING MACHINE TO FILL UP AND . GO TO SPIN RUN AND CHECK THE VOLUME OF WATER COMING OUT.... ALL SHOULD BE ALRIGHT.. 9... THAT IS WHY THERE IS A LEFT OVER OF WATER UNDER THE BOWL SIR ... BECAUSE OF IMPROPER PUMP ACTION. 10... ENJOY , BE SAFE AND ... ALWAYS HAVE FUN....And help is always available.... 11.. REINSTALLATION ; IS THE PROCESS IN REVERSE.... YOU CAN ... MAKE THE BEST..
I have a similar setup inside my Samsung HE top load washer, but the drum seems to be seized on that spindle on the center. The locking nut and the washer come off with the right tools but I can't lift the drum off. I have had WD-40 (penetrating oil) sitting in a little pool around the spindle for a couple days but it has not made any difference. I've also set up quickclamps around the drum to provide constant upwards pressure over time. Still nothing. Even tapping things with a mallet. Nothing. I'm going to throw out my back just trying to get this drum out and it still seems impossible. I have like a months worth of clothes on standby and this mf thing needs cleaning before any of that can happen. Anybody got any ideas?
Either something i can't see or find any evidence of is keeping the drum from lifting up, or some washer or component has corroded and debris has caused it to seized. It's a 7 year old machine.
really amazed by your prompt reply I appreciate it ....kindly advise me why my machine drum is banging and shaking like hell in spinning cycle ....it feels so loose when touched (what is to be replaced?)...the machine is hardly 5 mths from purchase (missing warranty docs) model T7288NDDL lg fully automatic top loader....... just started all of a sudden during spin cycle
