I tried to read through comments to see if this was asked but there is a lot sorry if it was and I didn’t see it, how did you get the upper lift gate appliqué black? Did you paint, vinyl wrap, or as cover?
@@Chris_Graham is the trim around the windows wrapped as well? Sorry for all the questions, I just bought a 2020 Yukon xl and trying to chrome delete. I already have the grille, fog lights, and badging. Trying to figure out the easiest, most cost efficient way for the back upper lift gate appliqué, trim around the windows and the chrome around the door handles.
This looks like a few hours of work. I'm considering blacking out my yukon so this was informative. I'm wondering where you got the door molding in black? Or did you just paint them? I can find the emblems anywhere.
I sort of feel like unless you can get rid of all the chrome there is no sense blacking stuff out...rather you just have to work with the chrome. The door trim and handle trim along with the window chrome....love to know how you "conveniently" plan to get rid of these other areas. This is my struggle at this point. I want the white / black color scheme but don't wanna spend thousands deleting the chrome.
