How to remove a tensioner pulley 2010 grand caravan Volkswagen routan 4.0 litre only (EP 103) 

Double check the video for steps and issues I had. Also, it is different on the 3.8 litre. Let us know how it goes!

@@unclemarksdiyauto I've got a 2008 4.0 but I'm fighting trying to get the darn alternator bolt back in the holes. Been fighting for 2 days now. I'm tired of _rocking_ this alternator to lines these holes up.😫 It's the original alt and still works.

Larry Beattie Dodge supplies the power train and chassis. Not sure who builds the seats etc. Interior is different than the dodge version.

I am not sure how or what the pully system looks like on the 3.6. It will be something similar.

Do you have the 4.0 litre engine?

It has been 2 years and counting and no issues Brian. On the flip side, check and see what a new pulley is worth. The aftermarket ones use to be cheap.

I've watched a few of your videos. We bought a 2010 Caravan last summer. It has been pretty decent.

Ours has been good. Bought it 9 years ago with about 30,000 miles. It now has 82,000 miles. Have done brakes, tires, drivers front hub, passengers rear hub, a battery a couple years ago, and a AC hose, EGR valve, ESIM due to gas cap light on. Just did a timing belt and water pump since van is getting older. And am just working on a issue where the drivers front & rear doors will lock but not unlock with either key FOB, or door switches. That is it's history. I think not bad. Videos on all these things in my Caravan playlist.

I've watched a few of your videos which is how I found this one. Good luck on finding out what's going on with those locks. Hope to see a video on that, no pressure.

@@brianseippel493 Video being done as we speak. Just got the door apart. But it is -30F here, so my small garage needs heating & I don't usually heat it. Plus have my real job, so have to schedule some time so look.
