How to Remove a Traction Pad and Apply a New one to Your Surfboard 

Zach will take you through the steps to remove a traction pad from your surfboard and then how to apply a new one.

Few a items you may need are a hair dryer, wax comb, wax remover, rag and some rubbing alcohol or Windex.
1. Apply some heat to loosen up the adhesive.
2. Peel the pad away. Will take some effort.
3. Use wax comb and wax remover to clean up the residue.
4. Clean the surface with rubbing alcohol or windex.
5. Find a good placement for your new traction pad over your rear fin. Pad will usually line up right next to the leash plug.
6. Apply pressure and let the adhesive cure for a few hours.
