You see all these guys changing the tyres on their John Deere tractor mowers, well it looks easy, but have you tried it on the smallest ride on mower they ever made? These are tiny wheels and tyres.
It’s nearly impossible to use the multiple tyre lever method. The tyre bead is too deep and the diameter too small. You’ll just end up damaging your wheel rim.
If you’re struggling to remove a tyre, or put one on, try this method. Worked for me.
Spray with penetrating oil or any lubricant type - detergent would work too.
Put your tyre levers in
Drop a 12” extension bar into the axle
Cross the levers and pull outwards levering against the 1/2” drive extension, the bead will come off.
Hopefully save you a trip to the tyre / tire shop!
