we have some websites that are asking money in order to remove sensitive content. How to remove them from the google search? When it's not our website but it is our content?
Dealing with websites that are asking for money to remove sensitive content can be challenging and distressing. To remove such content from Google search results, you can follow these steps: Contact the Website Owner: If you haven't already, try contacting the website owner or webmaster to request the removal of your content. Although they're asking for money, you may attempt to negotiate or firmly request removal without payment, especially if the content is unlawfully posted. Legal Action: If the content is illegal (e.g., it's defamatory, violates privacy laws, or is otherwise illegal), you may consider taking legal action. A lawyer can advise you on the best course of action and may be able to send a formal legal request to the website owner. Report to Google: If the content falls under categories that Google agrees to remove, you can file a request with Google to have it taken down from their search results. This includes personal information like bank account numbers, explicit images shared without your consent, and content that poses legal issues. Go to Google’s legal removal request page. Select the appropriate category and follow the instructions to submit your request. Use Google’s Outdated Content Removal Tool: If the content has already been removed from the website but still shows up in Google’s search results, you can use Google’s Outdated Content Removal tool to request the removal of the cached copy. Seek Professional Help: If you're unable to get the content removed on your own or if the situation is particularly sensitive or complex, consider hiring a professional. This could be a lawyer specialized in internet privacy or a company that provides online reputation management services. Document Everything: Keep records of all your correspondence and actions. This can be important if the situation escalates or if legal action is required. Remember, each situation is unique, so these steps might vary based on the specific circumstances. Also, be aware that removing content from Google search does not remove it from the website it is hosted on; it only removes it from search results.
@@VerpexHosting I want to learn how to do it, not to hire the company for it. Google is protecting thiefs and they are all well connected with each other. What they are doing is they are looking into databases for VIN car numbers and then releasing those numbers in public. Already gone through Google removal and they didn't want to remove. So basically they are extorting money from people... You pay at one site, the exact same thing pops on the other site.. and it's a never ending circle
To permanently remove your website from Google search results, first delete the content or take down the site. Then, update your robots.txt file to disallow all crawlers: User-agent: * Disallow: / Next, use Google’s Search Console to request a removal of the site from Google's index. Also, add a noindex meta tag to any remaining pages: Keep in mind, changes may take some time to reflect in search results. If your content is hosted on other sites, you'll need to contact those site owners to request removal.
@@VerpexHosting Thank you verpex. Very generous of you. Those non-indexed pages, is it possible to remove that from google console? The grey stuff, not the green.
To remove your entire website from Google search results, start by deleting the content or taking down your website. Next, use Google's Search Console to request a complete removal of your site. You will need to verify ownership of your domain to access this tool. It might take some time for the changes to be reflected in Google's search results. Remember, if your content is also hosted elsewhere, you'll need to address those separately.
