Removed my 550 tank about 25 yrs, ago. Uncovered it myself and had a local excavating company lift it out and haul it away. Didn't see any evidence of leakage, so they filled in the hole and all done. Thank God I was able to switch to clean, economical natural gas and not have to deal with the smell, potential leaks, and expense of oil.
@@TankMastersEnvironmental I'm selling my parents home, there is a 550 gallon tank that was siphoned of all remaining heating oil back in the late 70's when Dad converted to gas. Realtor told me it could cost between 12 and 15k !!! A few companies had quoted me 4 and 5k. I finally found an outfit to do it for 1800.00, and they will dig it out by hand if necessary, now that's more like it. Lot of crooks out there. Cheers to you for being an honest business.
