Also remember that for waterspots that have been on for a while, both Carpro Descale and Water Spot Remover 2.0 are perfect to soften and remove any "top" deposits making it way easier to polish out the more serious ones
If used as directed on our website then safe on CQUARTZ coatings. We have not tested on others. Yes it is safe on PPF or at least on Immortal and the others we have heard of it being used on.
it is impossible to keep water off your car as it rains all the time for most places). So what are you supposed to do every time it rains?? How long can you allow the water spot to stay on before washing?
That is a GREAT question with no clear cut answer. This ALL depends on a TON of variables. I will try to list them in order of importance..... "minerals in the water, how dirty the paint is, how dense and resistant the paint is, how hot the surface becomes each day when the sun comes out, how hard it rains, and what the paint is protected by! WHEW! No wonder there is no clear cut answer! Soooo, in general if you can wash once a week you should be in great shape as long as you didnt park in front of a water sprinkler or water source with HARSH well water or heavily mineral laden water... MOST people cannot wash their car that often... so I will tell you another scenario.... My car is in Florida, garaged at night, outside in the sun and rain all day, it is protected with CQUARTZ and occasionally Hydrofoam. If I wash it every 2 weeks with Reset then it stays very nice... I can even make it a month in most cases BUT if it get s bird poo on it or LOTS of bugs during bug season then I might clean those off right away with Ultima Waterless Wash Plus after my drive... since those are nasty. Next scenario... if you are in Hilo Hawaii then you are near an active volcano and these water spots are much nastier and etching sooner! In this case I think you must wash every week! If you cannot due to time constraints then in this scenario at least waterless wash it carefully with Microfiber Madness Crazy Pile towels and Ultima waterless wash or CARPRO Ech2o.
