Thank you so much. I was having trouble taking a piercing out. Just couldn't unscrew it. The "wearing gloves" tip worked wonders. Turns out, it wasn't even screwed in. It was more of a push-in, push-out type of earring which I've never come across. Managed to do it myself, too.
Thank you so much! I got a double cartilage piercing about 8 mos ago and was afraid of changing out the rings. When I tried on my own, it was really painful and I didn’t know what I was doing. You just helped me a lot, everything online was telling me to turn to the left and it wasn’t working. Once I watched your video my lobe piercing was the same turning to the right.

Yeah my first thought with the screw on one was...omg, don't do it above the sink! I was just taking out push in studs and daaamn. I really had to pull hard from both sides and still it was a struggle.
I don’t know if this will help anyone else I might just be incompetent but after like an hour of trying to screw on the front I did it in like five minutes by blue tacking the jewellery to a cut in half cotton bud. If you make sure the screw is parallel to the stick you can use that to be more precise, especially if you have a conch and a small piece of jewellery (aka me)
Ok off-topic but my earring has a simple pearl and butterfly backing but the pearl fell off and i guess they glued it? And idk how to get it out cuz its way too tiny to put my finger on
I got my ears pierced 3 months ago and it does not hurt when I touch my ear or move the piercing around, can I change it? Or should I wait. Like I said it feels like it has already healed but I’m not sure if I should change the earring yet.

I got my second one piercing with this type of earring and I have been trying to take it out but it will not budge. I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING, gloves, pliers, everything girl. And it will not twist at all. It does not help that my lobe is also big that it covers most of the earring when I try to twist it 😢
I been thinking about a helix piercing but i love to wear hats like ball caps. If i got a helix piercing, i know i should not wear my hats during the healing process for sure but would i not be able to wear my hats forever? I have a forward helix and I managed to get it out, but could not get it screwed back in 🙈 this has been going on for months and I lost the front of the labret because it wasn’t screwed in properly, just been wearing normal earrings backwards 🙈🙈

Hey, I have a really important question that I need to know, I was playing with my new piercing at the lobe and the back came off when I out it back in I out it way too tight like I can't get solution or anything under it to the actual hole, and I'm too scared to take it out because it's really tight on so if I take it off the whole piercing it gonna come off and I'm really scared cause I don't want an infection.like the earring is really tight on it like if I look to the other side earring, the earring is sitting on my ear but the side thats tight, that earring is like pushing the too of my ear down or in if if that make sense but anyway I don't know what to do
for some reason the ball on my labret twists but it just wont come off? i can feel it twisting and ive tried it both ways but it just refuses to come off 😭😭

I got this piercing and I hate it. I had to have my 2 prior cartilage piercings redone after having to have one surgically removed and the other closed. The Labret is causing keloids and yes it does get caught on my hair. Mine doesn't screw in so I am hoping I don't have to go to a piercing shop to remove it.
my piercing is currently infected (it’s swollen up and there are bumps on the back and the front i’ve been cleaning it and trying to take it out but i can’t get it out what do i do?
I also got my piercing with a gun. My earring (the one my piercer gave me) fell into the drain while I was cleaning my ears, so I got a new ear ring which was slightly shorter. I think, due to my earring being short, it caused a pressure on my 1.5 months cartilage piercing and now it has a small bump at the back. My mum suggested me to use a small herbal stick in place of my earring. Now I have bought the earring similar to my first one and I am still using the stick right now. The bump has not healed yet. Do u think I should switch to the earring again?

I’ve had my cartilage pierced for 4 months. I’ve changed the ring once. I got a irritation bump on it so I took the ring out to clean the area 2 days ago. Now I can’t get the ring back in. Should I wait til the bump goes away before I try to put it back in again or should I try to get it back in now?
I just got my cartilage pierced about 5 days ago.. and it was fine the first few days.. just the usual pain. My left ear is fine now, no pain when I lightly touch it. But my right ear has swollen since the last 2 days. It was throbbing the entire day so I decided to clean with saline (table salt). But i used too much salt and i used a q tip to clean it. And i think i irritated it. It started swelling and the pain remained. I went to sleep. Woke up the next morning and the pain had reduced but the swelling was still there and it was slightly red. I applied betadine and left it the entire day. In the evening cleaned it again using saline. But the swelling hasn't budged. Help!? It's been 2 days
I got my helix pierced around the same time. Definitely take some anti-inflammatories if you can and avoid touching the piercing. I’ve just been blasting it with water twice a day (nothing too high pressure, if it burns, ease up on the pressure 😂) and saline aftercare. Making your own saline solution isn’t as sanitary, so I’d recommend that. I’ve even slept on mine unintentionally and barely bled, but make sure it stays clean. Happy healing!

My cartilage piercing has turned black. It's been more than a year, since I got this piercing . I also got bumps on both my ears during the healing process but I let it heal naturally. But now ,that it's completely healed , my one piercing had turned black. What do I do with that if anyone knows?

Its going to hurt a lot and get swollen within the first few days to maybe months My only suggestion it to clean everyday and make sure not to get into the water like the pool or beach for now. I waited for a couple on months in my case. Every piercing healing is different. If you have those travel pillows, use those for now when you want to sleep on the side of your piercing. And make sure to have your hair away from your ear thats pierced. Overall, be gentle with it and try not to touch it. Edit: This is coming from someone who has 4 piericings now (2 Double Helix, Daith and Flat). Going to get two lobes and a conch soon.
@@user-cx3ny9uv5c if this isn’t your first time going for a helix, do what you want but my only suggestion it to keep it’s simple for now so maybe get another helix piercing for the other side a couple of months. So that you know what you need to do. Travel pillows help because it won’t damage your ear that’s pierced and it won’t get infected.
@@natalisalazar2863 can I do upper lobe piercing on both sides and a helix piercing on one side and just sleep without the travel pillow cuz it’s uncomfortable and this is my first time getting piercing
Amazing! Had my cartilage pierced for years, always wore a hoop, thought I'd try something new for a change but couldn't get it in as not used to a bigger bar. This has saved me sending it back!!! Well, once I pluck up courage in case it hurts.... many thanks ❤
