so when i put my bottom bracket on the sprocket side doesn’t screw in all the way. i don’t know why i have a 2018 big ripper and the same bottom bracket in the video
Hey Stan, great video man. Ive go an SE OM Duro. The crank or bottom bracket feels like its almost seized up. Its almost like its tightening on its self to where it seizes. Any ideas what the problem could be? Thank man.
The bottom bracket removal tool you were using in this video is a open wrench type, the link you provided shows up different. Are they both the same size tool just differently made?
There are tool links for both styles I used in the video. One is for the outboard 16notch and the other is for the Odyssey style. I just updated the description so it’s easier to read. Also I put up more current links.
How did you adjust for the chain alignment? I got the same bb and I'm putting it on a 2018 So Cal Flyer, but when I put the top hat washer on, the sprocket and the freewheel don't seem to line up correctly. I thought it had something to with the top hat washer itself, but then I saw that you have the same small gap between the top hat washer and the back side of the sprocket.
In my opinion, profile bmx makes some of the best bottom brackets. They are a little pricey but worth it. Bombshell makes some sick bottom brackets as well 👍🏻
