In this video we show you how to use a detachable swan neck tow bar.
This particular tow bar is a Westfalia Detachable Swan Neck Tow Bar fitted to a VW T6, however the functionality is almost identical across all Westfalia detachable tow bars, and other brands are very similar also.
We fit a lot of tow bars to a vast variety of vehicles, and only use dedicated electrics, with options for both 7 pin and 13 pin connections. If you need a tow bar fitted to your vehicle, give us a call to discuss the options available.

Thank you so much for this video. I found the key guard on my driveway and wasn't sure what it was because it says Westfalia on it, I knew it had to do with my new detachable tow bar. It fell out of the bag they supplied. I figured out what it was from your video so thank you making this video.

Thank you so much, this really helped me figure out my problem of not getting the hook on! I got the bar in and the trigger clicked, but the knob didnt go to green and allow me to remove the key. The bar stayed put until I did a turn and my trailer fell off. Do NOT drive if the key is not out! I lubed it up, put it in, and then had to give the knob a good twist to get it to lock. All good!

If you ever come across problems where you can't get it in or can't get it to lock in properly, try putting some grease all over the top part where the bearing balls are. Mine was really stuck, couldn't lock in properly.
