Nice dude. My e24 has the same airbag steering wheel. I hate it. Did removing the airbag cause your airbag dash light to stay on?

Yeah it's a really ugly steering wheel!! But no air bag light on the dash at all! It didn't effect it! The old steering wheel is also really big and makes the car kind of feel like a boat! So it's 100% worth it!

Do you use a regular screw driver to unscrew the screws on the back of the steering wheel? It’s so hard for me to see the back of the steering wheel lol

If I can recall correctly it's a Philips screw! You can always take a picture with your phone! That's how I get all the good angles!🙂

Which hub did you get originally that didn’t fit? I got a NRG hub and I’m thinking I have to get MOMO as well

I believe I got an off brand it was from Amazon, but it didn't work, but the nrg hub might fit actually! I'm not totally sure, I have never tried nrg!

Not a fan of putting that kind of steering in a “modern” Bimmer. It’s more appropriate for a ‘66 Chevy Chevelle

What size were the washers you used?

Hey man! I'm sorry I don't have a better answer for you, I had a big bucket of washers that I used over the years and just found a couple that fit, I would measure the column to get the inside diameter, then measure the steering hub to get the outside diameter, then go to a hardware store!
