Easy way how to remove and take out broken RCA cable pin from audio equipment, amplifier, speaker, tv, gaming console and pull out from other RCA sockets. Just do it yourself (DIY) and save a lot of money and time not buying a new audio system or taking it to an authorised repair shop. Thank you very much for this! I had an expensive Nakamichi cassette player with two deeply stuck RCA pins, which was useless for nine years. My local repair shop would not even bother with fixing it. Thanks mate. Really helped me too. Initially using a heated clothes pin, then a narrow metal nail (pin) and then a miniature electronic screwdriver. This was what finally pulled it out. Made my day! And saved me having to buy a new sub

Worked on my second attempt. Couldn't find a nail small enough so I used a safety pin. I just heated it with a lighter, doesn't take long to get hot enough. Great tip. Thanks, made my day!

Thanks,I figured I would u tube how to get prong out and it worked,I used a trim nail and I couldn't find needle nose for the hot nail so I put electric tape on end so I wouldn't burn myself,cool trick thanks.

I used a very small drill bit. As soon as the coil shaving came out I gently pulled on it and the bit at the same time. Came right out.

FYI it helps if you can cut off the tip of the nail with a hack saw so it’s a smooth surface nail on plastic.

Do this now! It works and is that easy. Don't be afraid to jam the nail deep into the center of the prong while you're making sure not to touch the sides
