That is cool man. I know apple doesn’t want users to do this. Otherwise there is no reason to make such a trivial task impossible without removing the whole camera app. But you found a way to use shortcut to achieve the goal. Let us hope Apple won’t patch this in next release. The camera on the lock screen without the need of authentication is a serious flaw. My kids record veryyyyy long videos and I have to do the cleanup very often. This technique saved me 😊
However, if you accidentally hold your locked iPhone and happen to be pressing on the camera icon, it can still take annoying photos and videos. It does not stay open but I still get annoying weird photos and videos. I don’t understand why Apple requires the camera app to even be on the Lock Screen with no ease of removal. At least with this option, I don’t get the annoying accidental swipe action and camera opening. I’ve also disable Face I’d for opening my phone. It’s just too sensitive. Thanks for this though. It’s eased some of my frustration
KUDOS TO YOU KARTHIK. YOU MADE MY DAY. A FEW DAYS AGO MY NEWLY BOUGHT IPHONE 15 PRO MAX ACCIDENTALLY TURNED ON THE CAMERA IN MY POCKET AND THE CAMERA WAS ON WHILE I DROVE ALL THE WAY TO MY OFFICE FOR A 40 MINUTES DRIVE. REACHED THE OFFICE AND I REALIESED THAT MY IPHONE FELT WARM AND I IMMEDIATELY TURNED IT OFF FOR AN HOUR TO COOL IT DOWN. LATER I TURNED IT ON AND EVERYTHING SEEMED ALL RIGHT. I HAVE APPLIED YOUR INTELLIGENT TRICK NOW TO MY IPHONE. THANKS DEAR DOES SUCH MODERATE HEATING OF THE IPHONE 15 PRO MAX ON THE CAMERA TUREND ON FOR 40 MINUTES, AFFECTS THE CAMERA PERFORMACE OR ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS LATER?
First of all Happy to help, and now as far as the heating goes. Your iPhone is smart enough to recognise if the temperatures are bad for it or not. And it will send you a prompt saying "your iPhone is overheating" and will stop every process and apps in the background. This kill switch prevent iPhone to get damaged by heat.
