Some times genuine motors cost a lot of money and it`s not worth it to repair tools if you will put inside genuine motor, as it may cost more than a new tool itself! For example Bosch motor I replaced cost $60 and Makita motor cost $25. I saved $35 by replacing gear on DC motor.
