I have a dodge 2018 GT challenger I’m female and can’t get my fingers to grasp the gas cap tight enough to spin counterclockwise!!! Any other suggestions please? I drive from Acworth Georgia to Worcester Massachusetts and need to drive back to Georgia soon! HELP!!!! :(
I'm sure folks in the comment section realize that gas cap locks aren't too terribly hard to pick or otherwise bypass. The gas cap lock does however if it is a decent one could deter a would be thief or vandeliser where he or she will opt for a car without one.
Of coarse that's the purpose, but pretty much anyone can take it off by squeezing both sides while you turn it. Unless you don't know about squeezing it. Like my Uncle, lol. He broke his Durango's gas cap by trying to take it off with a screwdriver. But he didn't care if he broke it or not. Haha
