I am putting up some mirrors for my garage gym now using economical 12 inch x 48 inch mirrors to make a rectangular 48 inch x 60 inch mirror area using 5 mirrors. Thanks to your video I knew what to expect as I set about taking off the frames. I had my blow dryer, needle nose pliers, and knife ready. It made all the difference. Thanks.
Sooooooo helpful. I am joining three of these mirrors to make a large wall mirror, and needed to know the best way to do this. I will be making a video about the process and will be sure to credit you. Thanks for making this video. Not all heroes wear capes as they say!
OMG, this was so helpful. I bought a Walmart mirror and was struggling to take the trim off, and thanks to this video I was able to get the trim off. Thanks a lot.
Brilliant! Clear, well presented. One note - I don't think that is silicone I have never been able to get silicone to re-liquify with heat. I believe it is hot glue. (and you can use a hot glue gun to secure the mirror in a new frame). Again, great video!
This guy needs to make more videos LOL! He has a soothing instructional voice. PS: @wildwoodtop what if you're trying to save the FRAME and don't need the mirror? How can the mirror be removed without breaking the frame?
Thank you 👍 @2:03 Just be careful and don't break the trim then proceed as shown in video (I was able to save some of the trim and figured I would just keep it for other projects (decorative trim moulding 🙂
I got a bunch of 12x48 inch mirrors from Walmart to make a frameless mirror on my wall and tried using a Sheetrock knife to just pull it up and ended up destroying the mirror 😮😅 im definitely going to be trying this method, I hope it works🤞🏼🤞🏼
The Walmart mirror is 13x49 with the frame. Could you tell me the measurements with the frame removed please??? Trying to see if it’ll work in my tiny space😅
