I just did the horn upgrade on my wife's 2016 soul, and you do NOT have to remove the headlights! Thanks for your good explaination of how to remove the bumper.
My horns just gave out today and was looking around on what to expect for the bumper removal. This looks pretty straightforward. The manual says nothing about removing the headlights too. Btw, what horns did you replace them with? Thanks in advance.
Instructions worked for my 2016 soul base. Only exception were the plastic screws on my car were the push in type and needed a flathead to carefully pop them open. With this video I was able to replace a broken section of my bumper in under two hours (not including painting time). Saved me hundreds of dollars over taking it to body shop. Thanks for making this video!
Many thanks for posting this Pinoy. It's totally clear and complete - gives me confidence I can do easily do this myself so I can then replace the wimpy horn on my new Soul EV!
Thanks for the good video! You helped save me some good money to replace the horn myself. I ended up not fully removing the bumper and was able to access the horn enough to remove and install the new.
I've got two new horns to put in my Kia Soul but I don't want to take the front bumper off to do it. Even though I've done that kind of stuff a few times I just don't feel like it. If I could figure out what color code the wires were I'd splice them right behind the headlight and go from there
I have a 2016 Kia Soul EV+ but I imagine the process is very similar. Just want to say also you have a very calming voice. You should do meditation videos.
Thanks for the video. The only recommendation I would make is to have a camera man to keep the video on what you are doing and not watching your back.. Again good video and it helps....
Thanks for the video this really helped me set the expectation on when I'll do my horn replacement. They gave out today and was wondering what horns you have on yours. Thanks in advance.

11:30 you said "there's clip, you gotta take that off", did you mean 'un-clip' it or taking the clip off? I think you forgot to put back the screws behind the bumper in the splash guard area
If you knew what color wires the horn used you could just splice into the harness behind the headlight and put the horns in the grill where they'd be loudest.
I think if you cover or block something in front the horn. It wouldn't be as loud if it is as in the front. From what I search if you add a horn relay it will be more louder.
