Yes I follow the exact same process when removing the overlay technique, builder Gel, Gel x, dip powder and Polygel. 😊

Can you use acetone to soak the gel off or should I invest in a nail drill?

@msgigi6198 if you do not have a drill you can use a coarse file to rough up the surface layer of gel and then apply the acetone. It may take a little longer but it works I did it before purchasing a drill.

Hi, I would seek assistance from a medical provider. There are also helpful resources online. I have had a greeny in the past when I was going to nail salons, which is from trapped moisture under the nail and on top of my natural nail plate and that’s what caused it. After that I made sure not to go to that nail salon anymore. Lol but also if you notice any lifting on the nails, it’s best to remove them so that you don’t have trapped moisture.🤍
