Brief description on how to bypass the governor on Club Cars. Now you can impress and destroy your buddy's while racing down the fairways to your balls. Just be sure to use this power responsibly lol
I believe vehicles nowadays are all 'governed' by the ECM (engine control module) so basically is a computer that controls it by limiting fuel & ignition once you reach a certain speed. Good way to get around that is to buy an aftermarket ECM, as most I hear are not limited
So I have a question , if you bend the throttle cable forward will it start moving on its own without being on the petal since it’s technically getting more throttle ?
If you want to keep it there better you can just put a zip tie through the spring on it. You have to kind of push the cable into the spring so that you can put the zip tie through but you just tighten it down all the way and snip the excess and you're free to ride.
Really? I never really had any problems with any of the ones I did it to. Although you are right in that you do have to try your best to bend it back to its original position. May require some trial and error
Ben Loudin Damn, this is an old comment.. Anyways I’m sure you know this by now, but the cart has a rev limiter that cuts off the engine at at certain rpm as a safety feature.
I have had my Marathon ez like that for 15 years. We run it hard and its still runs like a champ. If you run it to long they get hot so you have to have common sense . Most people dont have that.
I followed your expert mechanical advise and it blew the motor up and now my dad is pissed off he said for me to find you and get you to rebuild it for free or he will find you and he said if you dont he will take payment out of your ASS!!!! Whatever that means. Im 14 years old and i trusted what you said so can you fix my dads cart?
Terry Beasley Well I’m 13 and my dad said he thinks your dad should make you rebuild it because you probably ran it out of oil and my dad said thats not good
