edit: after changing to my old PC it works but on Zu /s (its slave disk) it keeps saying UNLOCK NOT DONE what should i do? if i press ESC instead of going to BIOS it now asks for Master password pressing ESC after that wont do anything am i stuck that i need to replace disk?

dont work for me in laptop, the hdd ask for password and whe i get the ATAPW doesnt appear the hdd because turn off itself i think, i got a gateway M-6806m.

It asked me a Master Password to enter. But I don't know what is the master password. My HDD is Maxtor manufactured. Can you help me what is the master password to enter.
can't get into the computer yet how are you able to do all that, I need a way to bypass the password because it is blocking the computer from turning on like let's pull the hard drive out from it stick it in the toilet flush it a few times kind of thing
I have switched do IDE mode in bios and it still says that No ATA drives detected. There is also another hard drive connected to this PC and it also doesn't see it.
I wanted to migrate my hdd from a dead Asus laptop to a PC with intel cpu but when i tried to unlock the hdd with my four digit password (1234) for some weird reason the bios gave me an "incorrect password" message, I tried with another laptops and I got the same error message. Anyone knows why is this happening??
Nearly worked but no cigar, when it got to the password unlock part it said I had no ata drive, I don't have the legacy option in my bios I have a dell Latitude E6400 and have a locked SSD. Any help pls. The SSD is a Crucial M4
And I never understood these videos anyway why are you able to move around into the computer if you're having a problem with the user password that's built in at the beginning of the computers turning on process, then you're talking about how anybody can turn it off from inside the computer if I can get into the computer I would have been able to turn it off already. We need a video to turn it off before getting into the computer hence why it's an HDD password
I will try ! Actually my hard drive got self locked, as i changed my harddrive in pc from one to other, so this appeared ! I am keeping that hardrive from a long time as it contains data of my late father and late brother ! Their pics and videos etx ! I took it to different data centers for lock opening in 2017/18 but it wasn't successful! My harddrive is still resting that day after ! I will try this solution and let you know !
