Oooh so *that* is what a rotovap is. I am pleased to see that - rotovap aside - my process for removing high boiling solvent from stuff is very similar, albeit much more messy.

@@ayanchakraborty2631 i tired with my Lyophilized sample. But it did not work. I used NaOH for pH adjustment, and the ligand has some bound hcl too.. Now after metallation reaction, I have lots of Na+ and Cl- that contained in the solid sample..
@md.sydulislam4362, .if your metal complex is soluble in organic solvent, like DCM or Methanol then soluble it in 10% methanol in DCM filter the residue and evaporate the organic solvent to afford your desired metal complex..
