Hi. Nice video tutorial. One thing, why you use drill to remove ic chip from new screen while you can remove it with the hot air gun like you did with the old screen?? BTW the screen is OLED FLEX screen or HARD or LCD??

yes, to protecting the new screen from any damages so we don't use the hgh -temperature hot air gun. The screen is incell lcd, but it is old batch, the new batch screen no need to grind the chip now.

That is correct. I bought new soft oled screen incell and it does not have the ic chip installed. Super convenient!!!!

Why do we have to copy true tone when we are transplanting touch ic. Doesn’t it restore the true tone?

no need after transplant original display ic true tone will come automatically❤

Hi, I have tried this method and works. Sometimes I have Apple logo boot loop after IC swap. Do you know what’s the issue ?

Normally speaking，the chip IC won't affect iPhone boot loop, maybe you can have a look of the dock connector flex or power flex

Hello Sir I am from Afghanistan I have a problem of iphone 11 I was changing my LCD, i hade to write the old lcd backup on new lcd but mistakenly i wrote the new lcd backup on old lcd. Now the phone true tune come back but giving me Display message. Please sir Help Thanks

Welcome to Apple's locked parts policy/scam. It's absolute craziness that one has to waste their precious time doing surgery to make a friggin' screen work right. It should work perfectly fine without having to it, just like all the other manufacturer's phones. SMH
