@@shelbyy18 I don't know as I have only owned android phones. Knowing Facebook as a company, I doubt there is a way to disable the Meta AI on iphones as I have not found any way to remove it on android.

What a hassle all that is and like above comment once another update comes in you have to do it all again! I just want to be able to opt out in one simple click, infuriating is what the who,e thing is!

The problem is, legally, you agreed to this when you chose the update. No way around that, though, unless you quit the META platform altogether.

Hey Tracy, If you haven't found a solution yet, I finally figured one out if you or others still need help. I was as frustrated as you are! I asked Meta AI "How do I turn you off?" It replied with type "STOP", then hit send button. It actually worked!

Yes you can remove it as simply as deleting the app and reloading it. Meta AI will appear as a contact now not at the bottom of the screen as a search anymore.

I closed my fb account and reopened it and Meta is still on there. And if you have to do an update on your phone it comes back so frustrating. I don't know why they put this stupid feature on. 😡😡😡😡

Doesn't help when there isn't a way to delete Crackbook from your phone, only disable.

That's because you can't just "delete" AI. It's integrated into the app. This is suggesting you uninstall the current version, reinstall an older version. The problem becomes that the older version won't be supported, and opens you up to more problems. Facebook for the web (an actual computer) does not have AI.

I agree,sometimes I can't even use Facebook Messenger l,because Meta AI keeps asking me,to ask it a question.I wonder if verizon,or Cricket uses Meta AI.
