easier and possibly safer solution to popping the heads off stubborn ponies: dunking them in hot water for roughly 30 seconds to 1 minute will soften the plastic so it's more flexible. if you're careful, no damage will be done to the neck peg or head when it's pulled off. though the head is best removed with a thick towel covering your hand so it won't get scalded.
You can make A Bug's Life pony Flik, Princess Atta, Hopper, or maybe the Circus Bugs. It's the 20th Anniversary of A Bug's Life from Disney Pixar. Have you seen that movie from the 1990's?
for the pony which can't off the head i use another method. i just use hot boiling water to soften the head and then pull the head out but dont leave the pony head staying in the boiling water cuz it will melt. I did that once and now I'm left with just a pony body :p
I too gonna make a chowder as a pony if not something a random chef that's wacko or make a famous favorite dog disney character of your choice but in my eyes it's the Dodge 1 bad puppy♡♡♡
Cool vid! I was wondering if you could make a video like this one for changing a MLP toys hair without removing it. Sorta like dieing the hair a certain colour. I am going to make a costum mlp soon but I don't have any hair to use for replacing the old hair and I don't have the right tools to do so. If you could make a video like that i would be very happy, and would be able to do my costum without any difficulties. Thankyou! 😃👍
Hey I think it would be cool if you made the mean main 6! Because the chance of that is probably idk. But I think thsy would look cool :3 also your one of my favorite channels
Can you make a real person like cookieswirlc please sh'e my favorete RU-vidrs and of course you to Manda panda pelase make cookieswirlc i love her and you and maybe Jojo Siwa please make then both later i sure ia gonna be super awesome and cool 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I actually made a custom mlp Buffy a few years ago after watching your tutorial videos. Planning on making another one soon, once I get the pony figure I need.
@@bamargraf Nice. I'm working on making the Pillars (Star Swirl and the other five) at the moment. Then I'm moving on to Sun Burst, Daring Do, and others.
@@bamargraf Thanks! 😊 I'm hoping they do. I've got a bunch of bait ponies off eBay and using them. If you wanna see stuff I've done, either custom or crochet-wise, I'm on Facebook under Magic 'verse of Crochet. :)
Could you show how to customize a g3? The ones where the heads don’t turn. I know you don’t really do g3 but it will be very helpful since your a custom expert!
Thank you so much for making this video! I've wanted to make customs for a while, so this series is definitely going to come in handy! My only question is, how do you have so many figures? I've been trying to find some basic 3 inch ones for a while, but I can't seem to find any in stores. Plus, when I look online to try to buy in bulk, sellers always say there's only 1 left in stock. Do you have any tips?
Usually at thrift stores they have a bunch of ponies in a bag, some days you might find a giant alicorn twili and other days you’ll find some knock offs but it’s always worth a look!
First of all thank you so much for these videos. I've learned a lot from you about my newest hobby. Now a burning question: Where did you get your long and curved sets of tweezers? Was it from a store or online? I'm up in the Midwest and am having a devil of a time finding anything long enough to get in there.
Now I kinda wanna do this with my characters. But first, are there any guy 6 inch figures. I wanna do the 6 inch but 3/6 of my characters are stallions. If I have too I’ll settle for 3 inch but wanna make sure first.
Nail polish remover, make sure its strong enough to remove it completely, you can use the permanent nail polish remover for it instead of the normal one!
It's actually really simple, first you choose the coloured hair you want, then you get your rerooting tool, pick up about 8 strands of hair, then you wrap the strands around your finger and pick it up with the rerooting tool and pick which hair hole you want to put them in. But if you don't have a rerooting tool, you can make one with a sewing needle, an exacto knife base, and a pair of tweezers, by taking the pin and using the tweezers to snip off a tiny piece of the loop side of the pin and putting the pin in the exacto knife base and tightening it up, and voilà, there you have it 😉
@@raiokaii don't worry, sometimes mine does that on me too, so scrape as much of the dried glue out of the head, then I put the needle into the exacto knife base with the sharp end poking out so I can pierce the holes wider after painting 🙂
You show us what to do in every single video, with detailed instructions(and i appreciate the detailed explanations)but are you sure this was necessary?
