Good stuff! We used ChatGPT Google Sheets add-on and just asked GPT whether these reviews go against TOS or not (and we gave GPT the URL for TOS). Saves a lot of manual work!
I worked hard to build my brand and a hateful family member went to my product on Amazon and left a negative review that is libel . How can I get this removed . This person never purchased my book or read it .
Amazon changed the review removal process slightly. You can no longer give a customized message like what you wrote. All you can do is send the generic template Amazon has created for you and prays the customer changes or removes the review.
Thanks for this video. But, to my knowledge, method #3 is false and does not exist. Exactly how do you "submit a ticket" and even "up to 10 tickets at a time" in the referenced method #3? There is no feature within the seller central case log to report product/ASIN level feedback (aka product reviews). If you try using the regular case log, you'll be directed to "feedback manager" (which is for seller level feedback not product) or directed to "report abuse" (which is for reporting other sellers, not buyers). If you use the "report abuse" link under the individual product review, there is no associated "ticketing" process- there is no where to leave remarks, no ticket ID provided, and no follow up from Amazon regarding the status/ruling of the report.
Adam, I tried this method to no luck. What's the trick? Submitted 2 cases, was directed to Amazons "Community Help" email address as the Seller Central team suggested, I get no responses. . What really is the trick??
Hey Adam, the feedback manager only seems to handle Brand level feedback removal, it doesn't seem to allow for removal requests for ASIN level feedback. What am I missing?
Hi Adam, thanks for the video. For method 1 to work, I am not sure if Amazon allows you to send customised messages. It is a generic template message from Amazon to the customer. Unless they have changed it or am i missing something?
@@AdamHeist I am a buyer and was finally contacted by the seller who was apologetic and actually offered to send a replacement product at no charge, so I would like to delete the negative one star review that I left for him as a seller. How do I do that on the iPhone app? Thanks in advance for your help.
I submitted a ticket using the 3rd method because there’s a non compliant review about product damaged and all they respond with is “go click the report button under the review” which I already tried. Is there a certain way or place to submit the ticket on seller central? Am I doing something wrong?
Great content as usual. The only question I have, for method #3, how do you submit the ticket? Through get support? sorry for the basic question. Thanks Adam
Adam did a great job showing the help file and the what to say. To help him out I'm going to supplement him on the how to file the ticket part. You can do this in the case log under: Selling issues on Amazon Products and Inventory Product Reviews I have a picture and guide on how to do this, Adam if you want to share it just google negative product review removal myamazonguy
It's gonna blow your mind when you find out that most sellers don't have to do any of this and still get reviews removed. This usually happens with Products sold from Asian sellers. Amazon says that it posts the review live then you find that it's not posted. Some of their products you aren't even allowed to post a review on... So I don't know who they got working for them in Amazon but Sellers who sell fake products should not be protected...
How does this work for self published books on amazon? I get lots of haters on my subject and a few with just bad mailing damage and amazon refuses to remove it.
Thanks Adam, i have contacted the amazon seller support, but they say this is not something they handle and the only way to report a review is going under the review and clicking "Report" but there you cannot even write a thing.
Hi Adam! Big fan of your content. I noticed that they recently performed some changes to the SC UI, and Customer reviews is no longer available. What do you recommend considering the most recent changes?
I only get a Contact Customer message that gives either a "Courtesy Refund" or "Customer Support" templated message. Where are you seeing Send the customer a message?
I used to be able to send a customized message but for the last month or so only see the 'courtesy refund' option too. I questioned Amazon about this and was told they had taken away the feature because people were not using it. I don't believe the last few words of course.
@@AdamHeist Yes I do not get the option either - I have the option of courtesy refund or Contact Customer - but that opens to a fairly useless Amazon scripted message - there is no opportunity to change their text... It seems odd that this is open to some people and not others?
I reached out to the customer, told her she could keep the product, and also refunded her for the purchase. Unfortunately, she chose not to update or delete her negative review. Other variations of the same product got impacted by her negative review, even if she didn’t purchase them. It was a new listing at the time, and the first review it received was negative and unreasonable. Contacted Amazon Seller support several times. Back and forth with no positive results. It’s been months, and nothing. Very frustrating!
Hi Adam, thank you so much for sharing this insightful video on how to remove negative reviews on Amazon. As a seller, I've had my fair get negative reviews and it can be really frustrating to deal with them. I appreciate your clear and concise explanations, and your positive attitude towards the whole process. Your video was both informative and mind refreshing, and I look forward to implementing your strategies in my own business. Thanks again for sharing your expertise with us!
If u want we also can help you to down your product bad Review from 1st page . We can also help you with amazon review helpful vote, question - answer, Seller feedback also
Great Vid Thanks. How do you raise a ticket for Amazon to review if a product review is against their guidelines? I keep trying and it keeps directing me to a feedback review and not product review
How do you create customised message in Method 1? From what I can see it goes out with default Amazon message which is pretty cold and doesn't invite buyer to respond.
@@5116david I know we are just talking to ourselves here, but also - how do they even DO that? I tried is from my buyer account and it forces me to write something when I leave a review?
@@Maria-mh9jp I think sometimes it may be an error even due to Alexa. Often Alexa will ask me from my Echo Dot "You just bough X product, would you like to leave a review?". Maybe Alexa is misunderstanding the star rating they want to give.
@@LeftRenalVein I love the our of the box thinking. Also, I didn't know Alexa does this. Does Alexa allow you to leave a rating only? (no written review) I still dont understand how people do that. As an amazon buyer, I don't have this option.
@@AdamHeistMaybe mine just don't fall under any of the methods in the video. The ratings are more than 90 days old so don't show in Brand Registry. I don't have sellerise but might try that and because they are ratings not reviews there is no text or anything I can contest with seller central. Is there something I have missed that might be able to get them off my listing? Thanks for your help Adam, big fan of your content dude!
The right way to remove one star reviews is to stop selling garbage. Also, you can so easily remove it as a seller, that I don't trust any rating on Amazon. I'm not buying there at all anymore.
@@AdamHeist sure. Even tho I tried putting an honest review once I bought actual scam product (expert opinion). I was left with deleted review and "a first warning" not to leave reviews which are not compliant anymore. You can return for a refund but that is not enough. That will not deffer shit product sellers because those products are cheap crap and not everyone will return. Not allowing honest reviews is Amazon cancer so I dont use it anymore. For retail that is.
From our experience you are out of luck. There is not way to contact the buyer and when I contacted support with this issue, they basically said there was no recourse. Actually think it leaves the door open for a competitor to bash your product.
