Thank you sooo much for making this video. I'm moving and I have spray paint on my garage floor. I bought a $12 can of paint removal from Homedepot and it sucked. I went to my wife's bathroom cabinet and grabbed the nail polish remover after watching this video. Grabbed the wire brush and got to scrubbing. With in two mintues that paint all came out. Thank you Jesus for this video!! You saved me from a huge amount of time and money.
You saved my day, and my beautiful stone handsoap dispenser that my kid splashed paint on, and many other things he will also stain in the future. Thank you! !
i AM GOING TO TRY THIS TOMORROW! IF IT WORKS, I WILL COME BACK AND COMMENT AGAIN! I LOVE RU-vidRS THAT LOVE HELPING PEOPLE WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE! GOD BLESS!!!
Thank you so much for posting this video. Today i gave it a try and i was able to scrub off all the paint from the concrete floor. WOW. it required alot of elbow grease, nevertheless it worked like a charm. THANK YOU so much!! I am so grateful to you. May god bless you and your family with good health, happiness, and prosperity.🙏🙏🙏 I hope you have a beautiful day!!
Cool I just painted lines in my parking lot and one of them is a tad crooked, so now I can just correct the line then scrub away the tiny bit of excess paint.
The trick DID NOT WORK on our bluestone! I used simple green and a wire brush and was able to remove the paint. I hate giving this video the wrong idea. I tried all of these tips but seriously simple green worked and I’m happy to say we sold our house!
Wow. I never thought of nail polish remover to remove some hard to remove spray paint stains or tiny splashes on concrete. I will buy a few bottles to try it out. 🙂
btw, even cheaper and more effective, just watched a guy use gasoline. That is what I would be using. Its not as dangerous nor toxic as some make it out to be. works very good. People are using hydrochloric acid, which is much more dangerous. @@marys33794
Hi I got a question I'm using Mr color paint from Hobby Shop and some of the pain drop in the cement so I want to know how can I remove it what do I need to use
FYI I’ve been trying remove 2 in 1 rustoleum paint from my bluestone walkway. I tried all these methods on my walkway--sorry but acetone and an expensive paint remover DID NOTHING! Guess what?! I used simple green ( a product I hate because it makes me cough) . The simple green and a wire brush removed the paint!!! Hooray! I should e made a video. Anyway. I loved this video but for tougher jobs use simple green. I couldn’t believe it but it works! Ta da!
Cheap Hair Spray may work, too. Old school teacher methods to remove marks was Nail Polish remover or Hair Spray. Then, Magic Erasers became common, BAM! Easy peasy!
Yes but some paint you can't paint stripper works the best Especially not for an entire garage that I gotta clean up of paint little spots yes but that stuff evaporates very quickly
Kendall Burns ok thank you for the info some vandalizer’s vandalized my local skate park and we want to keep it spray paint free and I guess that didn’t happen but we will keep trying to keep it clean of spray paint. I needed the info thank you again
🦘🦘🦘🦘 ... I found this GREAT IDEA on another site & want to share it if anyone has this same problem & how to fix it. I had a terracotta pot with a wonderful indented fancy pattern etched into it when it was made, around the top & bottom sections of the sides of the pot. It had been well painted with thick black paint then sprayed over with a tough shiny, hard, silver paint over the black, but ONLY on one side of the pot!! I wanted to strip the paint to return it to pure terracotta again & fully preserve the pattern. ................ I read that full strength 🌿🦘EUCALYPTUS OIL🦘🌿 dissolves paint. I found a 50ml bottle in my cupboard & used an old toothbrush to brush in & massage into the paint: small amounts of pure Euc oil. I let it work into the paint, scrubbing it in. Soon the top silver layer dissolved away so I dripped on more oil & used old tooth brush to scrub into the black paint within the intricate etched pattern. Soon the black paint turned to tar like substance as it softened & mixed with Euc oil. I used a small wire brush & a few squirts of WD40 to scrub away the softened tar like thick black paint. WD40 will not work by itself on paint, only use to remove the tar like paint after Euc oil works. It does not take a lot of Euc Oil, use sparingly drop by drop. Clean brushes of build up if needed, with turpentine or WD40 & rub with old rag. Worked well. Used an angle grinder scrub pad on large smooth portion of pot. Wiped it with a good smear of Euc oil & left to soften, then used angle grinder with pad & it came off in one buzz. Cheers.
I don’t think a toothbrush would work. The one I used was pretty heavy duty wire and I still had to scrub hard but luckily it was from the dollar tree so it was inexpensive!
Stains go inside concrete 1 inch You only have two methods to remove stains like this (old car oils etc) 1) you pay someone with a power washer(boiling water), not pressure washer(cold for cleaning) and expect to be billed few hundred depending on the job 2) you can buy a commercial grade liquid(Prosoco) that costed me about $48 bucks for gallon You pour over the spill, let it sit for 12+ hours and then just scrap it off. The heat from the putty and whatever else sucks up the stain
This is very helpful because I dropped spray paint and my dad would have killed me but I just sanded to floor some and it is gone I’m second also use water
