Hey in short words: go to change password,enter you current password,click next,then there is an option of adding a password and a space for the hint, leave the password space blank and click NEXT...now your PC doesent have a password

Thanks a lot, saved me lot of time. Just a suggestion, instead of restart/shut down you could check if password is removed by locking screen Windows+L and then try unlock.

I forgot my password...not sure how I did that eventually after talking to tech support and Microsoft trying to scrub my computer clean. I finally remembered it. I dont want that to ever happen again. Thank you for the ease of showing me how to remove my password
