How to Remove Powdercoat 

Hi aluminum oxide and a pressure not siphon cabinet are what allow you to remove powder well

On aluminum i use gasket stripper.bubbles up and peels off in a few minutes.works better than any other chemical stripping I've ever used. You can use a bristle brush or power wash after to get the crevices

You can speak to Pittsburgh Powder coat or Ameritech both offer sandblasting

I know this was a year ago.but quickest best way at home is with a torch.if it's thinner aluminum be careful. Takes a min or two for the heat to build up but after that it starts to bubble then turn to ash and you can move your way down. Doesn't take long at all. Let it cool and it wipes off with a rag or with a large item like that quick power wash.

There are pressure and siphon blast cabinets pressure need large compressors and remove power coating easily siphon is slow for powder or not effective depending alox is a good media typically but a siphon blaster may be to weak
