I have damaged my nails so many times because I am not patient and hate waiting for soak off. I try to get as much filed off as possible, but I also struggle to see where product ends and nail begins. I’ve definitely gotten better though.

This is how you do a removal video - cleared a couple things up for me as a DIYer after 15 YEARS of watching nail videos. Thanks. Points - you will visibly see when the natural nail shows through as you file. You NEED the extra 5 minutes to get rid of the rest its not "15 magical minutes to soak it all off". And you are left with residue on tbe nail after all of this. These are all important points people conveniently exclude.

Me too! It also saved me some money because I was about to buy the tool that you use to dip your hands in acetone Instead of just doing the foil method ❤

Are you able to use the mani-q shimmer fiber gel to adhere full coverage tips? Do you have a video? And what would the removal method look like if that is what you would use?

Yes, you could use the pink shimmer fiber gel the same way as the others. We wouldn't use any of the more opaque fiber gels to adhere the colored full cover tips, but the clear ones are okay.

How long should this whole process take?

It would depend on what product you have on the nails as acrylic will be thicker and take longer to soak off, especially if you aren’t filing as much as possible first.
