I don’t watch many either…. I did see you with the stand on mowers that was great. The Bermuda is struggling in the cool weather right now along with the other warm season stuff
@@PaulsPrimeCuts for real my bermuda yards dont look the best right now. They haven't taken off yet. we need more heat! the cool spring has done wonders for my fescue and blue. When your knee gets better you need to come mow my grass. You can use one of those stand on mowers!
I’m always impressed with your videos. Your knowledge of different species of grass and chemicals, along with the terminology blows me away. I’m presuming this is years and years of experience under your belt. Do take classes on your chemical knowledge and terminology?
Great video! I live in Raleigh, NC and the prior owner to my home attempted to overseed with ryegrass and there are random patches of ryegrass in my front yard. I'd like to have zero green grass during the winter. Will all of these chemical applications work for this or should I use Glyphosate when bermuda is dormant?
I jacked my knee up as well. I keep over extending my right knee and it's kicking my ass 🤕 I didn't know rye grass poisons it's competition before it completely dies off... 🤔 Is that the white powdery film on the rye grass before it checks out?
What do I do for common Bermuda grass? I have beautiful blue green common Bermuda that I pushed and plugged...great success...should I scrape up the fescue and place my common Bermuda sod into the area? Or just push the Bermuda to take over? 2 acres...65k SQ ft of turf.
Depending on the size of the fescue areas but the fescue can be killed out of the Bermuda and assuming it has full sun the Bermuda can be pushed into those areas with frequent fertilization
Hey Paul. I moved to Texas last year and have my first st aug lawn. Is there anything to kill poa in st aug? Or do I just let the heat kill it off? And put pre emergant in fall
From fescue? … fall Applications of Pylex and fusillade over the course of several seasons … it ain’t easy or cheap… you can try to spray it out with glyphosate before reseeding buy it usually returns

Nufarm came and made video before Christmas 😂 they shot hours of video with Canada Rod and myself and I guess that 10 seconds they spliced together was the only thing they thought was worth using 😂
