It's super expensive ship storage, if it's a ship you put 500000 credits into it'll cost that much to get it out. They really should let us store and not sell our ships at our landing pads.
Sometimes when I load into my outpost the landing pad disappears. So I’ve never messed with it. If I try your method and delete the landing pad and rebuild a new one, will the inventory and credits still be there or will the new build reset everything? Console user
Technically you can do this on console, but there’s a huge problem. When you’re on Xbox, you don’t have console commands, so no infinite money. Even doing the glitch to sell ships at “full” value, that’s still a small fraction of what you’d have to pay to get any of them back. I have over 160 hours into my current play through, and have amassed less than $7 million. While not a small sum, I’d quickly burn through it if I were to use the ship builder to keep swapping ships.
One problem. Normal Vender inventory resets after enough time has past. Is the same not true of Ship Venders? Is there really a finite number of ships available through venders, or will everyone who uses this method wake up one day to find their entire fleet gone?
Being able to Build any Ship you want was a Lie as you are Restricted due to the Mass Restrictions it's due to this why I stopped using this Feature shortly after Launch
Some playthroughs, i have used the Frontier you originally arrive at the Lodge with (Barrett stays with Lin) and repeatedly upgraded it until the point when i'm ready to enter into NG+. there's some other options like finding the Mantis' base and ship too. helping Walter Stroud with a personal quest results in obtaining a special Stroud Eklund ship. these side quests don't always need to be accepted. One ship CAN get you far enough to enter into a new universe.
@@stuartd6359 NG+ is not necessarily everybody's goal. What I mean is that one single ship, once you managed to unlock every possible attachment, is all you need to take on any enemies in very hard difficulty, carry max crew and fly around with enough cargo.
