Sometimes when I need to take a shit, I pass my bathroom at home and walk to the nearest grocery store to use their restroom. Because, like you, I love doing pointless shit.
Buy a set of screw/bolt extractors, always good to have that set in your tool box. 1- Put some oil/lube (like WD-40), and drill counter-clock-wise a hole in the damaged screw or bolt (using the reversed drill bits that come with that set, sometimes, just that alone is enough to unscrew the screw/bolt). If it didn't unscrew, proceed to step 2 2- Gently tap/screw-in the right size extractor into the hole you just drilled with a hammer, and then unscrew with a wrench. *PS: There are different kinds of extractors (step 2) with correspondent drill bits (step 1): -Stripped screw heads -Stripped bolt heads -Broken off heads Watch some tutorials first if you don't clearly know what to do with those left-handed drill bits and their correspondent extractors
Ôpa! Fala, Marcos! Belezinha?
I agree. Plus, I don't think there's always room to try that solder application. You can tell me the screw was already loosened before the soldered horizontal piece was turned by hand.
Ain’t gonna work… but while you’re there with the soldering iron, just keep the tip on the screw… the heat will be conducted into thw wood and the screw will be burned out…as it is in this case, evidenced by the scorch mark around the screw
Just get a file and flatten two opposite sides. Then use a vice grip or big pliers to grip the flat sides you made. Or, alternatively, hacksaw a line to make room for a flat blade screwdriver to turn it
Not amazed, if the screw needed so much torque that it stripped the head, odds are you wasted time trying this because the torque is great enough to break the solder joint apart too. Try welding it instead, or just grab the screw at the base in this case of it sticking up, hold the base still and put a 90 degree bend in the top to get leverage to turn it with pliers.
Hello, Gary! This type of welding is easy to do. Please watch my new video with 6 tips for removing screws with damaged heads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4z9DcVDpz0Q.html
Yes you are right. However, this type of tip is for those situations where you don't have the ideal tool available. Please watch my new video with 6 tips for this problem: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4z9DcVDpz0Q.html

I could see this working in simple screw in wood cases. But for me the screw is stripped and needs an insane amount of torque to spin it out. But I'll try this tip out next time for lighter cases.
😂😂😂😂😂 WTF did I just watch. lol this was a total waste of time 😂 FU guys man I watch this thinking there was really going to be a point to this besides wasting my time

Clickbait! Solder is WAY too soft to get out a screw that is actually stuck. The screw in the video is not stuck. Now that I think about it.. the content creator only wanted to post something people would contest in the comments so.. I guess I’m still playing into their plan. Need to just stop engaging with bullshit comment-bait.
Hello! You are wrong in your comment. Tin solder is strong enough. Did you try the procedure before commenting? Please watch my new video with 6 tips for removing screws with damaged heads: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4z9DcVDpz0Q.html

KKKKKKK. Ok, Clay! Are you already better? Please see the full video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4z9DcVDpz0Q.html (6 Tips). Regards.
... respectfully. As long as that took, you'd be spending a mere fraction of the effort by yanking it out using a clawhammer....not as gentle, but takes only a couple seconds... And suppose the head isn't sticking out by a whole 3 inches...at that point you could grips the teeth of the screw with your hand and do it...
Hello! Yes you are right. This tip can be used in a specific situation. It is important to know several techniques to use the most appropriate one for each situation. Thanks for watching!
Hi Paul. Don't see the tip as the best solution to the problem. See the tip as a possibility for this or other problems where it is not possible to remove the screw (or whatever it is) in the traditional way. Tks for watching!

Not really.. yeah if the screw isn’t in tight like the one I got to deal with lol this would take time and then likely break off after the first attempt lol better off using vice grips
Hello, John... It may not be the best tip to remove the screw, but think about the possibility for other situations. Thanks for watching! Here's another tip for removing a screw with a damaged head: ru-vid.comPZZeFPJCEsU?feature=share
I mean that’s not a bad idea if you can GET to it. Most of the time tho they strip when they are tight. Also, use the right size Philips head and avoid this
