To protect my privacy, save space, optimize battery life and improve the user experience… I found an easy way to remove redundant system apps without root or unlocking the bootloader. This trick should work on most Xiaomi smartphones, including the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra that I use for this example.
My advice is to just uninstall the items that either bother you and the ones you have alternatives for, like the browser and music app.

Hi. I downloaded this, OpenJDK11U-jdk_x64_windows_hotspot_11.0.15_10.msi and then executed it. I then didn't know where to start the program. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I uninstalled it. Any advice? Thanks.

Worked flawlessly for me on my Poco F3. Main reason was to uninstall the preinstalled RU-vid app which had issues with multi-window mode. But getting rid of Mi Share and Music is an excellent bonus.

@@g-man5498 I generally don't listen to local music files. I use Spotify for music and podcasts. If I need to listen to an audio file I usually use MXplayer but I believe you can play local files with Spotify as well.

When I run the ADFastBoot file, it says Error: Cannot find ADB/FastBoot. And when I connect my Xiaomi phone and select File Transfer Option, my phone info doesn't appear in the ADB FastBoot Tool.

1. if you windows, you can drag and drop the ADFastBoot file into CMD (Command Prompt) then Enter 2. You must be developer by pressing continuously the "MIUI version", then you must turn on the "USB debugging" option 3. Must use the right wire to connect (use charger's wire)

Got a question, so I use the gallery app for the most instead of like Google Photos and etc. and this Mi Video app always appears at the end of watching videos and sends me somewhere else. I was able to connect and the computer recognizes the smartphone well. But the only app I'm interested in uninstalling is the camera app. But it doesn't show up in the list and I can't find any way to change the default app.

Great process that removed quite a few system apps. Unfortunately the main app that I wanted to remove/disable is the stock phone app on my Redmi Note 10 Pro, but it doesn't show in the app list of apps to be removed. I've installed True Phone Dialler which is brilliant, but even with it set as the default phone app, stock phone app plays caller ringtone simultaneously with True phone.
