How to remove dash strips in Holden VE? Similar concept for all Series 1 or Series 2. This is performed in an Series 1 07 Omega with an SSV Series 1 Dash Conversion www.cohenlewis.com www.photographycm.com photography.c.and.m/
I own an SS 2008 and needed to replace the Master Window Switch which of course I could find no instructions for on youtube. Thanks to your video I was able to get the centre console off. From there I noticed the 3 electrical looms just needed a wiggle here and there and came away quite easily. Removing the clips securing the faulty switch was a little harder but after a bit more persuasion and a flat head screwdriver it also popped out of console. Popped in the new switch and attached front electrics in and, was satisfied and relieved when the remaining two also made a reassuring click as each clip found its spot. Continued to clip back console as you described and tried window that had stopped working. To my relief the window now worked again. Still think if I had just done a little better job of cleaning the car (and maybe used non-static electrical spray), that this would have prevented switch to not clog up with grit in the first place but anyway..THANKS FOR YOUR POST!, saved me a bundle! :)
+Cohen Lewis How about removing the trim around the head unit ! I want to vinyl wrapp all the middle side of the interior from the middle console straight up. Color White then Vinyl Wrapp my Steering wheel. Just bought a 2010 V VE Calais Wagon.
Awesome good to know, also anyone know what the small part between the back top of the glove box and rear vents is called? Mines missing and want to replace it
Hi Cohen, Great video. I've been trying to resolve a wet rear passenger side carpet problem. Any chance of doing a video on how to locate the problem Cheers
There should be clips underneath the console, pop them out with something soft like plastic don't use a screwdriver because it's very delicate to take out without breaking it, after that just clip your new one in and you should be back in business, hope that helped
