My connectors were not exactly the same and I could not open them using this method, but your idea led me to try a different approach. I used and exacto knife ( yes dangerous but use common sense) and I went into the hood on the other end and was able to open it safely. Thanks for the idea. KLR
Know it’s an old video but this helped out a lot. I too tried using Xacto blades prying around to get them off. Either breaking the actual sleeve or the blade itself. Oops! This helped out a bunched thanks!
I was about to cut the thing off, but stopped and wondered..might someone on RU-vid have run into this? Sure enough. I was on the right track with the little flat blade screwdriver before, but didn't go into the hood far enough. Now it's off. Thanks.
You can buy them but it's not really worth it. On eBay you can buy almost any length servo extension you want really cheap.
