The strange nut that goes on behind the spring, the one you use an adjustable on, is it a RH thread on all reels?

When reinstalling your new bearings, so you have to use the bearing assembly tool by Jacobsen? Or can you just press to fit?

You Can just press them in yourself. If you have a piece of PvC pipe to place over the bearing or even a socket and tap it in place that will do just fine
