THANK YOU for getting right to the point, showing ALL options, and make this viewing a quick turn-around towards a solution - A+ for "pedagogical work." Bravo!
This was a great example...Thank you for the share. I've been trying to figure out how to remove the comments or stop the document from showing the comments after accepting all changes and stop tracking.
Thank you for the explanation! I was looking for a way to be able to read the comments that I wrote as they only showed up as little comment symbols in my document and I always had to click the symbols to see what the comment said. It was on Simple Markup setting as you mentioned. I set it to All Markup and voilà! All the comments appeared next to the text. Really easy and simple if you know where to look ;) Thanks again for the video!
Writing Made Easy - It persists. I have Word 2013. I can turn off changes but it leaves an extra one-third page on the write of the normal size screen view of a word document. How the hell do I get rid of it! Thanks.
To remove that side, go to your review tab where the tracking changes box is, and change the “markup” pull-down box - it should say “all markup” when that third is showing. It should say “simple” or an equivalent word in the pull-down box area. I hope that helps. If that doesn’t work, accept all changes (or take whatever action yo prefer). You can also delete any comments in that area to see if it will take it off. I hope that makes sense. If not, I can do a new video in a few days. My daughter just had surgery, or I can pull it off today.
