How to Remove Unused CSS and JS in WordPress | Increase Website Speed 3x 🔥 

This was exactly what I needed for one of my clients who has an Elementor Website. Saved me bunches of headaches and now I can greatly speed up a website in 1-2 hours and cut the loading time in 1/4-1/2 easily. Thanks for sharing!

BEFORE YOU DO THIS! You will definity break something on your site. The problem is that he is only checking the FCP (what you see when the page first loads) and then he REMOVES ALL css\js not being used for that part of the screen. IT DOESN'T MEAN THAT THE CSS/JS IS NOT BEING USED SOMEWHERE ELSE ON YOUR SITE. What you should do is treat your site as 2 different sections. Section one is what you see when loading the page for the first time (First Contentful Pait) - You should inline this css/js - So you will do as what he did in this video, but this modified css/js will only be used for the FCP. Section two you should defer the css/js. In other words, your css/js will load as the user scrolls down.

What if the CSS and JS files you are going to reduce the code of are files from plugins or libraries? So in case of plugins, every time it gets upgraded / updated, the spare codes will appear again. In case of 3-rd party libraries, say, Bootstrap or jQuery, we are not allowed to edit the core library files, are we? So, what to do for these cases?

You are removing CSS not being used on the home page.... what if that CSS will be being used on any other page?

What if that red colored code snippet is used somewhere else in the website? Then that page would break right?

This is a very bad method, never do it! These codes may be activated in different actions of the site.

actually it works only single pages if i wanna remove for website so how can i remove for all pages because when i remove some css in home pages so may that codes working for other pages if you have any solution so please reply as soon as possible. Thanks from your viewers

I deleted all files with 100% unused codes, but after refreshing the files are still there. What should i do with this issue?

brother this one is very unique content but problem is if anyone try to add something new website it will be not work then it will be show error so for a beginner its very risky
